  1. Some good racing last night, Kerr was a surprising but deserved winner, well done Chris. Steady was good but made some poor starts and got caught in traffic early on in some heats so lost points. Screeny made a good fist of it but was hit by mechanical trouble's so finished down the order. All the riders had some good races at various points in the meeting so the scoring was pretty well spread. Biggest cheer went to John Branney when he won heat 19 from David Howe,Lyons and Lambert. Some very fast times last night which ranged from 63.0 seconds in heat 1 (Kerr) to heat's 15 and 19 65.7 second's (Screen and Branney). Well worth the admission money of £15.00 but the crowd was slightly down on the usual League match figure i think.................... oh and it was cold here comes Autumn/Winter. 1.Kerr 13 2.Stead 12 3. Doolan 12 4 Compton 9 Haines 8 Piszcz 8 Ashworth 8 Proctor 7 Screen 7 Branney 7 Wright 6 Howe 6 Lyons 5 Harrison 5 Sneddon 4 Lambert 1
  2. Looks like a great line up to me, should be some cracking races.
  3. I thought there was some decent races in the GP last night (Sat). Well done Greg Hancock.
  4. The venue's for the Super Seven events are usually decided at the pre season BSPA meeting.
  5. Eastborne to win easily, this is a farce holding the Pairs at Eastbourne where the Eagles pairing will have home track advantage. This meet should be held at a neutral track......................somewhere like ............Workington perhaps.
  6. My nomination for "Best post of the year".............. So far................... Sorry to say this forum is going down hill fast, yes ok we all like a laugh and a joke but some of the posts especially on the PL are just childish/immature/offensive/abusive................ delete as appropriate.
  7. What about Sheffield, Berwick, Glasgow,Redcar,Edinburgh.............
  8. Its true i was wearing my Blue coloured sun glasses last night, Berwick were impressive, if that was dross last night then i,m easily pleased . Lets have ALL the super seven events on neutral tracks to stop all the whinging, but it was always goining to happen if Worky won last night.
  9. Yes heard all the hometrack advantage a million times before................ and will hear it all again. Some good races last night, especially from Clews, Gathercole and Makovsky. Thought the Stoney exclusion was wrong from where i was watching (second bend) but the ref might have had a better view? The Fish rode quite well but the track staff are still looking for his dummy at DP. Far from a rubbish meeting that Shadders thought it was.............. Compo, Doolan,Rymel and Lawson were fantastic!
  10. I,m about 10 miles from the track and its Blue skies and sunny.
  11. Advertisment in the SS reads, £5.00 Junior 12-15yrs, kids 11 and under free................... so is it only kids under 15 accompanied that are free.......... a little confusing?
  12. Very good, i do remember a mad KL woman shouting abuse on the first/second bend ....................
  13. Yes, Adults £15.00, concessions £10.00, kids free (15 and under) with accompanied adults
  14. In the Daily Star today it says the "Aussie's were robbed"....................mmmm i must have missed that bit?
  15. I do hope Adrian Rymel is fit enough to take his place in the Comets side after a nasty fall last night at DP.
  16. Ok, but only if we can do away with the TR rule in British League Speedway (yeah i know this is FIM/BSI/SWC? rules).
  17. Job well done by all the presenters today under difficult circumstances, i personally thought Kelvin and Chris would have struggled without a Sky anchor man but if anything did better without one. Moan, moan............. if you want to.
