  1. Re run of this match is a double header, Edinburgh on first in the play offs http://www.workingto...ts-13th-october
  2. A tough test for Worky, local lad Gary Irving, ex Comet Kevin Doolan could prove to be high scorer if he has his gating gloves on, fans favourite Josh Auty and up and coming EL star Nick Morris, Birks usually goes ok at DP too....oh and MPT!! Can see this one being very close.
  3. Really hope its Greg but if not then Nicki.
  4. Still early but the weather for Sundays match at Workington does not look good.
  5. Fantastic win for the Comets, and for the true Workington supporters.
  6. Just to say again about Kyle Howarths fantastic return from injury, 18pt max after 8 weeks out , well done Kyle.
  7. Keep your hair on Phil, just my personal choice, no malice or ill feeling intended.
  8. Could be out of Gregs reach now to claim another title, the only hope is for Nicki to pull it off at Torun.
  9. Coming over for this one weather permitting, could be one of the last chances to see Worky away from home..........doom and gloom.
  10. Great score for Kyle, again good guest from MP Toft, another decent win for Worky. Not looking good for next season.............need a buyer or someone to share the load with KD. Thought the crowd figure given was 791.
  11. Recession , weather, injuries and other things like the , no i,m not going to lower myself...............................
  12. The crowd figures at DP at the start of the season were quite healthy and could support the team financially but for what ever reason the attendances have fallen
  13. Thats right but no guarantees that a big crowd would turn up for £10.00 a head
  14. So if the normal size crowd turned up 400-600 the managment would be worse off.
  15. Workington take on the Lions from Leicester in this PL fixture, could be a tough one for Worky with the likes of Niemenen, Bjerre and Karlsson riding for the opposition. Hopefully we can attract a big crowd to Derwent Park on Saturday night to try and secure the future of Speedway at Workington.
