Great score for Kyle, again good guest from MP Toft, another decent win for Worky.
Not looking good for next season.............need a buyer or someone to share the load with KD.
Thought the crowd figure given was 791.
The crowd figures at DP at the start of the season were quite healthy and could support the team financially but for what ever reason the attendances have fallen
Workington take on the Lions from Leicester in this PL fixture, could be a tough one for Worky with the likes of Niemenen, Bjerre and Karlsson riding for the opposition.
Hopefully we can attract a big crowd to Derwent Park on Saturday night to try and secure the future of Speedway at Workington.
Or put it another way, the amount of riders who want to ride at DP, like the track and would get paid on time.
"Jumped Ship"......mmmm not really getting that one.
Good post
This forum is going down hill fast, i,m all for people having their opinion but to constantly have negativity amonst so called fans is doing no one or the sport any good.............. i despair, maybe some people do not want the sport in Cumbria to survive.
I have Jenga on ignore but thought i would read it anyway.......................who is this person and what planet do they live on
I could go on and personally attack the post but whats the use.
Run under the constraints of Speedway, ie unable to account for the number of people attending, rising costs.
Away from Speedway, able to be more competitive and raise costs just like other companies have to in the economic climate.
