The guy has been through a lot!! Cannot really blame him if he did pack it in though, a really talented rider who has had terrible bad luck, hope to see him back at Worky next year if possible.

All gossip and rumour until riders officially sign, rememeber last year when Redcar thought Adam Roynon was in their side but then signed for Workington.

Workington victims of circumstance, not an ideal situation (i,m a Comets supporter) but there must be an official end to the season.

Simple rules at the start of season, PL play off winners are PL champions, not difficult to understand.

I think what we need in 2013 is some simple rules and less meetings, wether that includes the Play offs remains to be seen, personally i can see the play offs staying in place but they were in danger of not being completed due to the very bad weather experienced this season.

As far as i know the play offs decide the League Champs, the order in which teams finish just decides who gets the pick of who plays against who in a mini League to decide the final to decide the champions..... Its got its pro's and cons with any system, some say it provides a finale at the end of the season, others would prefer a simple top of the League team to be declared the winners.

Well done to both teams, pity there is a loser in this tough match, hard lines Somerset to keep it very close til the last. Congrats Scunthorpe, the PL champs.

Strange, two big meetings planned for next year but no definite plans to run full time.

Scunthorpes to lose now, i think Someset really needed 10 pts plus lead to be in with a chance.

Big thanks to Keith and the promotion team for keeping Speedway alive in Workington, oh it was a little cool tonight!! Why not make the season run from April to September, makes sense to me?

Aspergren went really well tonight, some good racing as well on a dry track that needed some watering, all the Comets side went well too and said they would like to be back next year, then again riders do not like it at Worky.

Good guest in Ricky Wells, its going to be a cold one, wrap up warm!!
