Well back to League action toight after last nights narrow aggregate defeat at Somerset for the Comets. Hopefully we can pick up all the points after the dissapointment of the Ipswich win at Derwent Park last Saturday.

Great effort by Workington, I must admit the Comets did better than i expected and to go out by one point must be frustrating. Anyway back to the League business tonight and i will be there...seems like a lifetime sine i was at DP.

Yes the Sport does need to be dragged in to 2013 and spruced up at least make the show slicker with prompt start times a raceable track and godd music to add !! to the atmosphere.. I would rather have the pie and oxo from 1983 than the burger and chips of 2013! Oh and some of the fans could help....some seem to be attending a funeral and do not even applaud the riders after a decent race!

Yep he is the man for a top draw race.

A sad day when they do, Gollob a fantastic racer, one race in Parken in particular with Zagar i think was superb, as for Hankock he has been a great ambassador for the sport and no one can beat his GP record, oh and a gentleman.

Oh yes them Worky fans are the worst in the League horrible creatures.

This GP series is boring, bring back the one off final.

Good win for the Witches, Whoop Whoop, just a bad night for Worky we will be back stronger come the play offs................ ....hopefully! Cannot see 135 pages plus for Workington 2013 though. Hope you enjoyed the win Baldyman.....cannot beat an away win......Redcar on Thursday for the Comets.

A long way to travel but good to see from fans.

Great win for Worky!! Track was ....er rough at the start and was in danger of being cancelled.......but give the track staff their due after much work it was raceable and got better as the night went on. Workington riders really got stuck in the more the track dried out and thouroughly deserved the win and fair play most of the Redcar fans were gracious in defeat but come on make some noise and encourage your riders!! Some fantastic passes by Rusty and Richard tonight and finished it off with a big 1-5 in ht 15. After previous experience i declined a burger from the van....

Agree, the promoters need to present a VFM package and the music is just a small part of that, the £10.00 Sport idea sounds good but is it attainable in 2013 with the costs of rent and all the other costs the promoters have to cope with never mind the riders wages. I do not have a SAVE Speedway answer but cutting down the amount of "foreigners" riding in GB might help.

Agree the Bears are starting to go well now and can see them winning this meet by about 10-15pts,...................but i will be coming over for this one to cheer the Comets on to see if we can grab a point or two!

With the added cost of Air/Foam fences next season in the PL/NL cannot see admission costs coming down.

Harris, Woffinden, Cook and Worrall or Barker..... two or three yeas ago KIng looked like he was going to progress but has stagnated alittle recently.
