Yes great night, never thought i would see the day.

I dont know where all the fans have gone from Worky, wehn the track re opened in 1999-to about 2003 the crowds were between 1500 and 2000....now a good crowd is 1000 but usually about 5-600.

As expected it was a tough match against Scunthorpe who were pretty solid side but the stand out rider for them was Ryan Doulas, what a great rider and good prospect for the future. For the Comets Rene Bach was in good form and is such a good rider to defend second place when a 5-1 is required. (Oh Rene got a 15pt paid max.) Another rider for the future rode for the Comets (as guest for Ash) was Luke Crang and his pass of Klindt was great to watch.

Typical speedway weather....

I like SKY and Eurosport coverage....the more Speedway on Tv the better!!

The Comets take on the Scorpions in this PL encounter and looks like it will be another tough home match for Worky who have Ashley Morris out injured....prediction...er 47-43!! Oh and i will be there, which is nice, hoping for some decent weather, forecast is for showers throughout the day.

Hmmm might fancy going to Tampere next year for my first foreign GP.

Not a good show from the Comets but fair enough Somerset were the much better team. Similar thing happened when Ippo came to Worky earlier in the season and got thrased then came last month and won at DP... Oh well whilst we are still in the Play offs, we are still in with a chance of winning the League.
