Good to hear Robbo came away relatively unscathed after a nasty crash.
The meeting started very well for the Comets with two five ones and then never really looked back and won very easily in the end,not helped though by Robbo's unfortunate withdrawall.
The Bears looked weak but were probabaly a bit race rusty, srill too early to say after one meet.
The Comets looked to have a strong top five but it was the reserves that stole the show for me , with young Nathan Greaves lokking steady and Nicky Barrett fast and furious.....still like the Bears its early days but a good start what so ever.
Oh it was cold.
Probably one of the most open GP series for some time, could make a case for most of the riders in this years series..
Herbie, Holder, Tai, Nicki, NKI, AJ,KK, Hampel.....etc
I will go for NKI, Holder and Tai.
Good feature on Tony Mole this week, good to read next weeks part on the resurection of Workington, Tony Mole always says it like it is no punches pulled ......
All joking aside i think we have a decent side for next season, SCB likes to have a dig and although he knows the rule book may well be wide of the mark with his remarks.......we will see!
Hansen could be a dark horse but if he does blow hot and cold we have strength in depth to cover for him and we have strong reserves in Mason Campton and Nicki Barrett......top six side nae bother.....still a few sides to be completed yet though.
We are Blue.....
Some real doom and gloom merchants on here, only three riders named and its the end of the world...lighten up!
Probably have Ricky Wells back on his average but this could squeeze Kyle out?
Hopefully have Simon Lambert back next season too.
