BSPA: This is what i would like..... A shorter season, April to September. Meetings that are slick (not track) ie kept going not dragged out! Continuity of meetings, not long breaks between home meetings. No TR rule. Try to have a team not filled with guests due to double uppers/downers etc. Keep things simple ...... even Team managers do not know some of the silly rules.

An item on Facebook says it will be January before Ward knows his fate.

Workington V Edinburgh 18/10/14 19:00 Hrs (pl)topaz325 replied to topaz325's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway Struth Monarchs fans can you not just accept defeat, ok your team was missing Worral and Sneddon, Worky had Grazjonek and Bach missing, your team may well go on and win the League but give it a rest with the untouchables.

Workington V Edinburgh 18/10/14 19:00 Hrs (pl)topaz325 replied to topaz325's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway Good performance from the Comets, well done Lambo on the big 14 pt haul and the rest of the lads who all put in a good shift. Edinburgh no doubt will be stronger with Worral back but do look weak at reserve even if Sneddon is back from injury. One more thing, message to the BSPA, get rid of that TR rule!! Roll on 2015.

Been a struggle at Worky this year with the weather, injuries, double uppers, double downers, double dip recession, double deckers....oh sorry got a bit carried away, abandonments, double headers...might give the last meet of the season a miss if its on Saturday the 25th.....are we there yet.

My first GP abroad in Stockholm and really enjoyed the weekend, ok the racing was not that good but i was inmpressed with the Freinds arena, no security searches ( ) clean, plenty of bars in the stadium and the track held up well. I estimated a crowd of 15-20k so the official figure of 16k would be about right. Six pounds for a bottle of Falcon beer in the Arena was not too bad but later got a ready poured beer that was foul!! Stockholm was a lovely city to explore and would really have liked more time to look around but there you go.

Who Will Make The Playoffs ?topaz325 replied to Super Blue's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway Now i know you truly are Nutz Somerset or Dukes of Edinburgh, did think Scunny but the go and get hammered at Rye House ("we are not afraid of anyone"), maybe they are saving themselves for the Play offs. Cant see Worky getting past the 1st leg .

Vojens Gp 2014topaz325 replied to Ghostwalker's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup Well done AJ, good to see him do well again. Some great racing and in the end not too bad a result as far as Greg is concerned, seems like Nikki missed out big time to really stamp his authority on a claim for the GP title.

Workington V Sheffield 13/09/14 20:00hrs (pl)topaz325 replied to topaz325's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway A lot closer in this meet, again Stead was great and was well backed up by Wolbert and Poole not forgeting Lanham who seemed to be a different rider from the first meet. Thought the track stood up very well and was in great condition all evening, well done to all the track staff Good to see some Tigers fans at Derwent Park...thought they might have been put off after the last abandonment! So we qualify for the Play offs.....unless we improve our away performances i fear the worst...
