This is one of the reasons i,m going to Stockholm (indoor track)...bad enough having a rain off in this country (GB) but im not paying hundreds of pounds not to see any racing!!

Some good racing last night but the meeting took an age to complete due to crashes (get well soon Danny Phillips) track work and air fence repairs. A good effort from Workingtons two guset riders Kapser Lykke and Liam Carr ( a possible siging for the Comets ?) Although it was good to get the win it was a point gained by our play off rivals Newcastle who were good value and never gave up but were helped by two Tac rides.

Has been said many times season too long, make it April to September, cannot really see Workington making it to the Play offs, too many meetings to fit in and some very tough matches as well!!

Unfortunatley NO, bad news for Berwick Speedway and British Speedway in general, where else can you pay for a product and receive nothing , nil , zilch.....not really legal but who gives a damn...still the Speedway fans will always come back.....

Seems like one season too many for PK, in the ideal world maybe they should have kept hold of Wells.

The Comets take on the Scorpions (Bill Haley v Klaus Meine) in this PL match that is a must win if Worky have any chance of making the play offs (deja vu)....oh the weather does not look too good but its early days...

I agre with you guys about fuel and other expenses , i was just trying to make the point about the inconsistentces of promoters regarding refunds when meetings are called off regardless of the reason and the illegalites of not paying refunds!! Maybe it would have been a good idea not to open the turnstiles if there was a risk of the meet not going ahead...... Disagree.

Not defending Workington here but at least the Sheffield fans got their money back un like Workington fans at Berwick recently........

Agree a shorter season , no double points rule, less double upper/downers, oh and slick meetings if possible!! Neil Middleditch declared in todays Star that the draft rider system is flawed and the NL should feed the PL and the PL should feed the EL.........whoosh!!!

The future ....just a few amateur meetings in Britain and left to watch Swedish League and GPs on the tv.
