Get well soon Simon.

Some good racing, surprised Richard Lawson did not win more races but Glasgow are a strong side from 1 to 7 and all capable of winning races. some tough no prisoners riding from Kyle well backed by Ricky , Rusty and to a lesser extent Rene who suffered from mechanical problems. Nice touch from some of the Comets fans to boo Richard Lawson, very classy.

It was great to see Gary back on a bike at Workington on Saturday night at Rustys testimonial meet, also the interview Gary had with Hoggy after his ride where Gary said he had some dark times after the accident but is in a better place now and is getting out and about doing things and keeping busy. He did say he would like a job in Speedway but has had no offers. Also after Gary had been round Simon Lawson came out and did a few laps on a motocross bike and popped a few wheelies!! Two great inspirational men.

Good to hear Robbo came away relatively unscathed after a nasty crash. The meeting started very well for the Comets with two five ones and then never really looked back and won very easily in the end,not helped though by Robbo's unfortunate withdrawall. The Bears looked weak but were probabaly a bit race rusty, srill too early to say after one meet. The Comets looked to have a strong top five but it was the reserves that stole the show for me , with young Nathan Greaves lokking steady and Nicky Barrett fast and furious.....still like the Bears its early days but a good start what so ever. Oh it was cold.

Probably one of the most open GP series for some time, could make a case for most of the riders in this years series.. Herbie, Holder, Tai, Nicki, NKI, AJ,KK, Hampel.....etc I will go for NKI, Holder and Tai. -
Warning.....Cinderella.

Speedway Star - Can I Have My Money Back?

Good feature on Tony Mole this week, good to read next weeks part on the resurection of Workington, Tony Mole always says it like it is no punches pulled ...... -
All joking aside i think we have a decent side for next season, SCB likes to have a dig and although he knows the rule book may well be wide of the mark with his remarks.......we will see! Hansen could be a dark horse but if he does blow hot and cold we have strength in depth to cover for him and we have strong reserves in Mason Campton and Nicki Barrett......top six side nae bother.....still a few sides to be completed yet though. We are Blue.....
