At the time of writing its not known whether Jonas Jeppesen will be fit to ride having crashed whilst riding in Denmark. Some better news is that Vinnie Foord returns to the side and young Dane Niklas Jakobsen recently finished third in the Danish final.

Good value programme and content from the recent Glasgow v Workington meeting . It included an interview with the owner Mr Faccena who has big ambitions for the club and reiterated the high requirement for entertaining speedway above all else and that trophies were a bonus or words to that effect .

It’s a shame the Glasgow qualifier is on the same night as the Workington b Scunthorpe meeting , I would have loved to to the qualifier there .

Decent performance tonight by the Comets , good to Max Perry in the points and a flying Craig cook , I was a bit wary that Cookie might come back from injury too early but he was on top form . The Comets outdated in ht 15 by a great ride from Howarth and Flint and that was that .
