Cov Storm V Brummies Fri 17thjuly

According to Adam Ellis he was excluded in his second ride for touching the tapes! Here full interview here: - http://www.birminghambrummies.co/news.php?extend.2147 Ref should have gone to specsavers! -
So just to confirm what Andy has said. On next weeks speedway tavern (Thurs 8pm) we will be having a competition to win the aforementioned android box with speedway kodi preloaded. This will take the form of a quiz based upon the categories from speedway kodi. Now I know that many of you listen to the show via our podcasts but in order to win the box you will need to listen live at sports-radio.co.uk. As soon as we have picture of the box we will let you know and watch this space for more details as they become available. Tell your friends. This is really worth winning folks, the box has a value of around £100. To tell the truth I want to win it but as I am setting the questions i suppose that wouldn't be right. Would it?

Martin you owe the club an apology mate. You are quick to make accusations now lets see if you are equally quick to admit you were wrong and apologise. As for the match itself: - I fear that we are going to lose our first league match of the season. But it was always bound to happen at some point, we are not unbeatable and no-one owes us a win (Rent boys take note.) The important thing is not to let our heads go down if we do, after all we are currently 14 points in front. It would IMO be massive if we could somehow conjure up a point from this. But if we don't it's not the end of the world. One match at a time lads, one match at a time. One message to our lads though. For gawds sake, please stay on your bikes! -

Be talking about this match on tonights show. sports-radio.co.uk The speedway Tavern -
Yes there are plenty of things that need addressing in this fantastic sport but there are also plenty of things that are great. If motor sport is your thing then speedway has, in my humble opinion, a lot going for it. For starters, Its the only motorsport that is truly team based which creates tension and drama and all manner of stuff all of itself. A meeting can be onesided and still give great entertainment, if the racing is good. A meeting can give great entertainment if the racing is not good but the scores are close If a race is prossesional it only lasts a minute and then another one comes along. The mecca of motorsport is the outside pass. Something that happens in speedway more than any other sport (IMO)

Have been exploring this for a couple of days now on my android box. Still quite small but stuff being added all of the time. Some great early speedway video's for those that want nostalgia. Interesting to note how many times Nicki Pedersen is involved in the 'fights and scuffles' section!

Hopefully this will settle the argument. http://speedwaygb.co/files/downloads/nl15_issue_9a.pdf Although having just looked again it may be that although these are earlier averages they are in effect. I hope so:- http://speedwaygb.co/files/downloads/nl15_issue_10.pdf -

With the new averages Tom is now third and this means that Adam Ellis is not able to take one of toms rides. -

Blimey lose one match and your title hopes have gone? I wish that were true but its not and last nights result was not the end of the world for Cradley. All it means is that, from your point of view, you have to win the return fixture. Something you are more than capable of. As a Brummie fan I am not taking anything for granted at this point. I have heard no fat lady singing and their are other dangerous teams beside Birmingham and Cradley that will yet have something to say about the ultimate destination of the title. While I am thinking about it. The Cradley fans that cheered when Adam Ellis came off at high speed. Shame on you. Probably be taling about that on tonights speedway tavern which will have interviews from the skip, The grasshopper, Sam and match winner Kirby. -

Your wrong. It also wont be the end of the world for Brum if we lose. It will just make the return fixture a must win for who ever loses. This is part of the fun of having track a track share situation. -
Birmingham V Coventry Storm 17th June
guitar_art replied to guitar_art's topic in National League Speedway
I think this is going to be lot tougher than people seem to be suggesting. I think Alex Wilson may struggle in the main body of the team. I hope Sam is a bit further down the road on his recovery. Robert Parker is an unknown quantity so fingers crossed there and, of course the we lose the grashoppers scoring potential from the reserve spot. I think this could go either way. Should be a good match. -

Happy to do so. Allthough I don't actually agree that it is. I cant think of any club that uses this forum to publicise matches. -

Never gonna happen. We cannot race 24 heats due to planning permission and we would never get it all in under the curfew. -

I have to comment on this. Firstly I am a Brummie fan and not anything to do with Cradley. In fact over the years Cradley have been the team I most want to beat. (This mostly proved a forlorn hope but maybe this year.......) I cant quite believe I am going to say this but here goes. This year during our track share I have found Cradley fans to be mostly gracious and understanding of how speedway works. Yes they celebrate noisily when they win (Which it has to be said through gritted teeth is most of the time!) and yes they don't like to lose. (Show me someone who does.) But as a for instance when Birmingham beat them earlier in the season (After they tonked us in the earlier match ) it was refreshing how many Cradley fans came over and shook the hands of Brummie fans and saying well played. Just trying to give a balanced view. (I feel dirty now!!!) -
Cant argue with that Tony. Long time no see. Be good to see you back at the Barr

You do indeed have the correct and one and only Kermit.
