Agree with everything said in this post (apart from last 4 words). I have supported a Junior (Non League) football Team for 50 years, had a purple patch during the 1980's crowds trebled and then fell away again when they stopped winning trophies. Transient fans are not fans.

Agree 100% with the sentiments expressed, a brilliant nights racing from both teams. There were are number of "first timers" at Ashfield last night and the two families I spoke to as they left were enthralled with the night's entertainment and are returning for the next meeting.
