There has always been cases where foreign riders will only ride in their own country after coming back from injury & guests were allowed. Don't see anything different here.

I'll run naked round The Abbey if that happens😀 -
That's what I meant from my last post & guess it could've only been down to money or both Steve & Charles not wanting the move.

Fantasy island I think or dreamland😀

Surely if Adrian refused to ride then he'd be banned & Swindon could replace him?, Understand what you're saying about a Premier League guest though. -
Only if the rider was riding for his other team should it happen. Mind you Swindon could've signed either Steve last season or Charles this season & avoided this situation.

So a meeting Swindon need to win they're using a rider who might not try. -
I know my phone keeps doing it😀 Really as from my memory I thought Phil was more in the top of the averages than all 3 you mention during his time at Newport, Bristol & Swindon but I could be wrong?.
-
So presuming Adrian was to ride at Leicester & we pick up no points there would be little chance of reaching the play offs anyway. Even with Darcy & Brady Kurtz in the team away wins will be hard to come by & Swindon need 3 of those.

Lewis is hardly firing for Newcastle as well. You should be able to replace Charles with any grade A rider regardless of where he is in the list & that should be the same at Tier 2 as well.

Cheers

Look who the reserves were Madsen, Doyle, Pawlicki & ?.
-
Well said Graham😀
-
Yes I'll leave it to you as if speedway is the only thing in your life it must be sad😀 A new word in Wiltshire😀 Goodnight Starman & Gater1 & no doubt our paths will cross soon😜
-
Jealous of having the biggest 2 numpy fans as well😉
-
The original post was Darcy was only bettered at The Abbey by Barry Briggs & not was a better rider. Maybe you should read the posts properly before replying & nothing to do with anything else😀
-
Never saw Briggo & I meant Darcy wasn't better than the 3 riders I listed. How many times did you see Phil ride the Abbey then against stronger riders as well?
-
Better than Phil & Jason Crump & Leigh Adams?. Not a chance for me.
-
Sorry forgot Pawlicki was a Bees Asset😉
-
Look at the averages of each teams 1-5 & there isn't a lot in it but then compare the reserves & that's where the teams league position is dictated. The balls up they've made of the draft reserves is the reason why a lot of die hard fans have turned their back on the sport.

Rich, coming from a fan of the biggest cheating club POOLE.
-
Understand what you're saying but there are few options for a top man who are not Poole assets( Ward, Pawlicki, Lindback, Kasperzak).

We shouldn't need a No 1 as it must have been thought that Troy would have a higher average than Adrian even if he had stayed fit & there lies the big problem as Troy has never rode a sustained spell at No 1 which is what he should be doing at this stage of his career. Like others have rumoured if the club have to release either Kyle or Zengi then they would possibly go to Coventry which would make them stronger than they are now. I know it's all about giving us the best possible chance of a play off spot but unless Troy gets his act in gear then it won't make any difference who we bring in. Swindon's loyalty to Troy has now got to be rewarded by him as he's been picked in front of Hans & Jason in previous seasons & at least they rode at No 1.
-
I agree with that Graham but a play off semi final place is worth a lot of money & for that to happen we need to win away. It would be harsh on any rider apart from Troy to lose their place in the top 5 but if the club want Darcy or a n other then someone has to go. Unless that is they go for a Pawlicki signing which would help the top 5 be complete & stick Troy at No 1 because that is where he should be for me & not Nick.

Swindon need away wins to get in the play offs & sadly Zengi is like an old Exeter rider where he is excellent at home but poor on his travels which makes him vulnerable.
