Bet Nigel & Kelvin deny Sky had anything to do with it as well. -

Lets hope the riders all get through tonight without any injuries as I wouldn't want to ride my old chopper round on that track -

Kelvin has just said Coventry don't have injury problems tonight so at least he does his homework like the professional he clearly is -
Guess next season when Garrity, Newman & Steve Worrall should progress into the main team will be the proper test of how far they've come.
-
Not being a pessimist but just stating an opinion as when you used to have a high scoring reserve in the old format they would sometimes struggle when going back in the main team. A good place for both Nick & Zengi as they both go well their.
-
Not really when both Nick at No 1 & Zengi as a heat leader might struggle to score what they were previously.

Swindon V Coventry Select Thur 4th Sep

Jonas used to have some good meetings when he first came to Britain at Swindon but has been poor the last few times. -
We all know where Brady will end up so best look elsewhere😀😀
-
I was told it was Coventry last night but not definate.
-
Is Jason still an asset as nothing was ever reported about the transfer going through?.
-
Good luck to Kyle who was unlucky to lose his Robins spot.
-
Well said😀

I must admit I'm surprised Killer is coming back & I just hope his heart is in it as he really has put his individual commitments before team stuff this season. That isn't meant as a dig either because he was honest about why he wasn't doing Britain this season to try & get in the GP's. His drop in his average is something that I still can't understand as he did ok in his short stint earlier in the season. We can't afford for him to miss meetings though as a guest for his average would be hard.

Belle Vue, Kings Lynn Or Swindon For 3rd/4th Spot

With so many free weeks during the season it seems amazing that some meetings might not get ran. -
King's Lynn V Swindon 9th Sept 19.45
Crazy robin replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Let's hope so as it would be hypocritical if they don't now let their riders guest after using Bomber. Unless they've agreed to maybe lend a Belle Vue rider to The Bees on a private arrangement to even things up. -
Would be nice but would rather it be a rider who knew the British tracks. Greg might be a shout but seeing how close he is too Darcy would he want to do it. Not really worried though as thoughts & prayers are with Darcy more than who wins the league.
-
Can't see Peter coming back as he's missed meetings for all his other teams since winning the GP & is purely concentrating on getting in them next season.
-
Lets hope for Darcy's sake it's not as bad as it sounds. Too many injuries in the sport season after season & I've never recovered the love for speedway that I had before Rico's passing.
-
Unless Robbo had it done privately he could be in for a wait for the results.

King's Lynn V Swindon 9th Sept 19.45
Crazy robin replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
There are only 2 teams in the league who would run with R/R for their 5th lowest average & that is Coventry & Poole because of Garrity & Newman would take the 3 extra rides. Coventry have benefited from it several times since Robbo has been injured & that is why they haven't signed a replacement for him. -

I don't think it's got much better to be honest as clubs don't use modern media enough to keep fans informed. -
Belle Vue, Kings Lynn Or Swindon For 3rd/4th Spot
Crazy robin replied to Trevor's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I think it's when the play offs start & I guess it means unlike last year the 2 teams who get knocked out in the Semi's riders will not be able to guest in the final. As usual it's as clear as mud. -

In a league of only 8 teams it causes serious problems if one team decides to not let their riders guest to an already ridiculous situation & does the sport no good at all. It would be great if they said from day 1 of the season that was the case & didn't use other riders to guest for them as a result. I understand why they are doing it but don't think it's right & would say the same thing if Swindon did it. -
He might be at Lakeside & Poole but can't see Kyle getting regular rides in Poland like Zengota. All Kyle has done is beat riders who were always behind him in the draft since it started so no real surprise. Let's see how he gets on in the main team next season. Everyone said that from day 1 of last season anyway.

James has only just got a team place at Plymouth so has not been riding at all this season. Given time he'll do ok again but just needs meetings.
