Now the new but un-announced by the authorities No 8 rider comes in it will be back to the good old days of a dodgy 4 point foreign rider being unveiled. Could you imagine either of the Polish or Sweden leagues letting British riders do the same thing?.

Yet another rule that will be abused & how can a club announce it before the rulers?.

The other 4 riders need to swap around during the season & we're going to struggle in Heats 13 & 15. All opinions but this team will be good to watch but will be massively inconsistent as well. Will be a push to reach the play offs in my view & just don't think there's enough big race winners. Hope I'm wrong though.

If it happens then the rider has too have an average lower than the 5th placed rider in the averages or it will be abused.

I think that's the main thing as Dak would've looked to up his average to 7 or above & I can't see Rohan doing that. Hope I'm proved wrong & he will have my support as totally understand the club going with a rider based in Britain.

Swindon will have priority with Josh & Stefan & Somerset have with Charles & Rohan. Slightly disappointed as feel there are better riders than Rohan but understand the economics of the signing.

They also could have done a lot better. Loads of pressure on every rider now & might just sneak into the play offs if the same top 5 are kept all season. I assume costs of plane travel etc meant a rider already based in Britain was the only option.

Guess all will depend whether Swindon want a rider already riding & based in Britain like Tungate or a foreign rider who will incur travel costs extra. Michelsen must be an option as he flies round The Abbey.

Good luck to Dak & his father. Dak is a big loss to Swindon & British speedway & Rosco doesn't have many options to replace him. I hope it isn't Tungate but if so he'll get my support.

You know what you're getting with an Aussie unlike a flakey Dane.

He's quite a bit behind Dak though but with little options this late & already riding in Britain would seem the likely choice.

Rohan Tungate fits but not good enough for me as he's not as good as Dak. Such a shame so close to the season as well.

Did he tell you that or are you making another sweeping statement without no actual proof as usual?. He has changed clubs in the other countries he rides in & his form has continued to drop so it would be more to do with injuries than the club he rides for.

You'd think the bloody council could fast track it as how many of the fans live in their borough😡
