Shame really as I hope that the big boys insist that Swindon will have to drop down next year to keep riding on a Thursday.

Swindon vs Poole BH Mon 7th May
Crazy robin replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I’d take any Swindon win but seriously Poole will clean up at reserve with Stefan in their line up. With Killer also in the team I might be due a trip to the bookies to see the odds for a Poole win. An off night for any of Swindon’s top 5 which is them scoring less than 6 will result in an away win. Shame Shanes rides for a Thursday night team as he’s better than Mitchell. -
Yes as that would be a great move with James riding for Sheffield on a Thursday night like most of Swindon’s home meetings.
-
Of course Stefan will do better than James as he’s a better rider. Shame as I was hoping he could be fitted in with his parent club.

Crikey that is some drop from David & if he doesn’t turn it round quickly then Swindon will have to take advantage of his old average to make changes.

Swindon vs Poole BH Mon 7th May

Rubbish as this will be closer than the meeting at Poole with all the Poole riders having had good scores in the past. -
Shanes is a much better rider than Davey so should beat him.

By god there’s some handsome & pretty fans in that photo.

Think if it was 2 changes it would have to be Mitchell & David rather than Toby. A team needs 1 strong reserve.

King's Lynn v Swindon 02/05/2018

A 5 man team who destroyed us at reserve. No way would Jorgensen have got 10 + 1 like r/r did. Leagues are won by having good reserves & Swindon are poor. -

Well done Kings Lynn especially Lambert but how many 000000 has Mitchell had now. Bad night for David as well but he’ll be back. -
I think even Doyley would’ve struggled to get more points than Troy who is on fire.

What a comeback by the lads & take a bow Troy especially as he is certainly glad to be a Robin again. -

I thought it could from memory. Not expecting anything from tonight as r/r means an extra ride for Zach & Davey isn’t good enough. -

Really Kurtz is a 2nd string & Zach is a reserve like Sargent whilst Davey can’t even get a gig in the 2nd tier. Swindon have the weakest reserve pairing in the league & weaker with r/r. Leicester should win by at least 8 but then again I was way out in the Poole meeting. -
Thursday night speedway at swindon

There will never be a good solution to it & it will be interesting what happens to Swindon next season if they are told Thursday’s are out. -

I hope Swindon drop back down next season as they will have no other option as no chance as I stands of ever racing on a Wednesday with the dog racing. -

What a big mistake not to bring Kasperzak back as no 1 as Brady could suffer the same result with the tin tack. -

A late call up didn’t help Troy last week in terms of getting his kit sorted. Rode brilliant when guesting for Doyley last season & knows how lucky he is to be a Robin again. -

Well that was unexpected but what a result from the whole team. The top 5 cleaned up as only a Swindon asset stood up for Poole. Never got they hype with Linus but your no 1 & captain scored 3 points between them. Safe journey home to both sets of fans. -

Weak reserves but what a top 5. Thanks for letting Batch have practice last week. -

Anything less than a 10 point home win will be a surprise as the reserves will clean up. As already said just like last season Swindon will need a team change to stand any chance of a play off place. If Poole don’t win the league this season then it will be a choke. Hang on that was the same as last season & look what happened.
