Crazy robin

I guess it will depend on what Simon does in regards to which club he signs for in the Premier league but I would just like to have the base of next seasons team in some way having as many of this seasons team in it. Our assetts from last season were only Simon & PK so alot will depend on just how much we want to make the likes of Nick, Hans, Troy etc as assetts or run the risk of their parent team using them. Then again i suppose as long as they do what Adrian did & said they wanted to ride for Swindon instead a precedent was set last year that we only have to pay a loan fee rather than buy them.

No thanks to that team as don't want Magic back anytime soon & would have Jason any day over the prima donna. As for that reserve pairing well all the best & last season showed how important having at least one decent reserve is & Robin & Frank were'nt bad either.

Bomber & Troy are okay as the 2nd heat leader whilst Hans has more often than not rode at No 1 & done well so depends on what you're looking for & who they belong to but I'm sure I read an article some time ago where Bomber stated that he wanted to ride for the Robins before he retired & knowing how close him & Rosco are then I'm sure he is in the plans somewhere.

I can only imagine that Swindon will not wait again to see what assetts are being left out by their parent club as we got very lucky this season with both Hans & troy being left out by Peterborough when it looked like we were going to be in big trouble. Whilst the Miedzinski loan deal left a real sour taste as he was a Swindon assett are we really that certain & going to run the risk of riders saying they want to ride for Swindon rather than their parent club. Rory is a Belle Vue assett & can't see him riding elsewhere if they run so surely a move for Troy or Hans will have to be looked at. Nick needs to be an assett & then the team built around him & Peter. Rumours are very strong that Chris Harris is Swindon bound though.

There is no way Rosco & Gary would sign Zengota for 2013 before knowing the team limits so jog along.

Here, here let them be someone else's problem & keep the right methods that worked so well this season. What happened to Magic the 8 point rider the Kings Lynn said would happen at the start of this season. Just hope we get Nick as an assett to add to PK & then maybe we might have to buy Troy or Hans or we'll run the risk of having to wait to see who gets left out by their parent club.

So no Ward or Batchelor & to think it's at Troy's home track is absoloutley a disgrace & as it's the 2nd year on the trot I hope he gets a long ban & if that includes Monday night then so be it. It's no surprise Ward has yet again got himself in trouble & as for being young then it's about time he grew up & realised he's a professional sportsman & whilst there's no doubt he's a talent the way he comes across in his interviews leaves alot to be desired.

You're joking as Matej is much better than NKI. Jonsson in already due to Crumpie retiring so Hampel, Ward, Vaculik & if a token Brit then please let it be Tai. As much as i don't like Ward you can't argue with his talent & it wouldn't surprise me if Red Bull take up sponsoring him now Jason is out of the GP's. Great to see matej back in the GP's as he's pure class.

No Steady unless him & Jason or Nick could double up together but I guess with Simon being the only assett of the 3 then who knows. Lampart a must surely.

We all might have our own views of Steady as a speedway rider on the track but you only have to look at the line up for his testimonial to see how highly respected he is amongst his fellow riders. Any rider who gets Ryan Sullivan to ride in a testimonial is lucky. On a down note that was very very poor of Troy to pull out & I hope he knew Kenny could ride before he pulled out.

In truth life returns to normal all to quickly even after a tragedy like Lee & then you see the thread come up again & you remember how this really upset us at the time. Even now it still feels unreal & I just hope the skys are as bright as the smile that used to be on Lee. A true Robin's & speedway legend who leaves a massive void in the sport.

Now let me count just how many times ryan sullivan had said he's going to do a testimonal in Britain only for him to pull out at short notice. I hope for steady he turns up but won't believe it till i see him or won't see him as i'm away anyway.

Steve, it really has nothing to do with whoever I support but it was clear from the outset that Adrian only wanted a short term deal & even though he's done really well he still can't be persuaded to change his mind. How many teams could go down this route in future if it's allowed this time. I might be many things but I'm a fan of the sport & not a hypocrite that I want Swindon to win the lge at any cost.

So R/R as opposed to a premier lge rider doesn't make you stronger then as that was clearly what o meant??? Adrian wants to leave & his deal has fun out so becos Poole didn't have the forsight to get a replacement you want a him banned for 28 days & moan about R/R?? You shouldn't even get that for the good of the sport.

Yet again a stupid rule that needs looking at as how can he be deemed to be with holding his services when his deal finished in May.Poole will be stronger with R/R as Holder can take a ride. A premier league rider is the only facility they should get.

They signed him on a short term deal so it's there fault they didn't have a replacemant lined up so as a result they shouldn't have any facility for him & before a Poole fan says anything it has nothing to do with who he rides for.

Whilst it is funny that all these riders are turning down Poole it really shows that if the team that usually have a queue of riders lined up to ride for them can't do it, what chance have the rest got. The Elite League is so far behind Poland & Sweden it's scarey.
