David Lampart was 4.52 so where is he & I never moaned about the signings of Jason, Batch & Hans so not guilty there. Teams with strong reserves win leagues as proven in the last few seasons is all I'm saying. Have faith in gary & rosco but am surprised that we've got 2 reserves under 4 point averages that's all.
-
Would need a massive improvemant to the rider that rode at swindon last season for Poole though but unlike the 4 I named at least he can still ride in the Premier League. I will but we've destroyed some young talented riders in this country just because their average fits.
-
Just hope the lad isn't destroyed by being a convenience signing like what's happened to the likes of Stojanowski, Piper, Hauzinger & Sedgeman to name a few.
-
There will be no rider from reserve to replace a mis-firing rider in the top 5 & that is proven not to be a good decision in nearly every occasion in the past. I hope if Magic's back he finally shows his talent on a consistent basis but have absoloutle zero faith in him doing that I'm afraid. To weak at reserve.
-
Not for me & I can't believe after always having a strong senior reserve last season we've gone for a side with the make up we have & that is with Magic sure to have bad meetings & lots of pressure on Nick as well. Not a patch on the Kings Lynn side but I have faith that Gary & Rosco have done a good job but I'm just not keen on 2 Poles.
-
See we as fans moan about how teams change from season to season but Jason wants to ride for Swindon & all some fans want is to see him replaced by Kennett who has turned us down in the past or Magic who couldn't ride on a Thursday in Britain last year. I'd take Jason over both of them everytime & just hope Rosco & Gary see it the same way.
-
Would find it really surprising if we end up with Dakota & Birks at reserve & am really dissapointed that both David & Jason seem to be out the picture. Magic on his way to Poole is what I hear.
-
Where have you seen that announcement?
-
Just like Leigh Adams did when he moved from Poole to Swindon Jason realised how good it was to ride for a team without glory fans like on the South Coast.
-
The importance of a senior reserve was proved last season so will be surprised if the Robins do go with Dak & Ashley but guess we'll have to trust in Rosco & Gary.
-
Cracking signing as an assett if that's the case with Dak & can always double up later in the season like Nick did last season. Really sad to see Doyley go though so will be making regular trips to Summerset nxt season.
-
Ashley Birks it is then. Find it strange that we announce a rider at the bottom end before signing the heat leaders but guess that means they must be sorted. Was hoping for North but welcome to the Robins Ashley.

King's Lynn Stars 2013
Crazy robin replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Thanks very much kings lynn as obviously the loan fes for Mads & Simon will help the funds of the 2013 Robins side & good luck to simon especially as he can now also join Sheffield in the premier League. Think Alden will be a cracking reserve & also means a strong main reserve throughout the season like swindon had last season. -

Oh what a surprise that was then. -
I'm surprised that David Lampart seems to be off every team as thought he did a good job last season albeit with a few dodgy meetings but he showed real commitment on & off the track. Might not increase his average by much but do think he's still capable of putting at least another point on it.
-
I suppose it has absoloutely nothing to do with clubs getting told riders like Dennis Anderson etc were on 5 point averages until low & behold they sign for Poole on a 4 point average then Steve?.
-
Guess the new average for the young Pole will now leave an opening for Dakota North.
-
5 would not have been fair Steve & you know it as he would've easily averaged 8.5-9 at home so 6 would've been the right average. Yes he might be lost to British speedway but something had to be done to stop clubs bringing in these boys & yes I agree it's probably a step to far but what would you suggest they did?. I'm happy & if he goes then good luck to him.
-
You wait for Holder & Ward to now start trying to get Magic to ride for Poole in 2013 now baby Pawlicki has a realistic average of 7 which is still less than what he got in the matches he rode last season.
-
Maybe just maybe Steve if certain clubs hadn't got riders in the past on a 4 point average when other clubs were told they would be 5 then it would've stopped this happening. I do however agree that how can this help British speedway in the long term, short term or mid term if these young riders don't come over to ride.
-
Hans, Troy, Peter & Nick will be the core of the team with the rest to fit around them.
-
A real tough one as I like Troy & he has real talent but it looks like the Robins have gone for Hans(hopefully) & it would be hard fitting in Troy as well. Guess it looks like Magic will be back then.
-
Nicolai Klindt it is then as similar average to Steady & leaves Simon to join Sheffield. Good luck Steady.
-
I was a big a critic of Steady last season but he showed when it mattered how much the Robins mean to him & hopefully with a place in the Premier League next season his lack of racing will be behind him & an average of 7 is well within his grasp.
-
Crikey that really does stink of a biased opinion & in sour taste.
