Crazy robin

I like Hans but he's not in the same lge as Leigh who missed hardly a meeting for Swindon unlike Hans who even when not injured or at his child's birth which are understandable misses meetings.

I imagine the lads are getting used to Hans missing meetings as he has missed so many this season. Look at the reserve berths for me & give Eddie a kick up the backside as he's killing us in Heat 14 or maybe swap him & PK over. Like you say though there's been no continuity of fixtures or the team & that has been a problem as well as so many points being used on the top 5 leaving us with 2 fillers cos of their averages at reserve. Just don't feel it with this team & didn't when it was announced.

Have to make a mention that what cracking work by Lakeside to replace Kim Nillson & Robert Mear with Seb Ullamek & Kevin Doolan as this makes them the team to beat if they stay clear of injuries.

You have to ask the question of why Nick signed for Somerset when Jason was already there as he could've easily been set up elsewhere in the Premier League. The reserves will be changed as soon as they can be or at least one of them as simply both are too inconsistent.

Lets hope Nick is okay as can't afford r/r with our reserves.

The worst part of the Robins line up this season is that it didn't have a slot for Jason as yes he'll never be as good as Leigh Adams or Phil Crump but you certainly want him in the team you support & he has so much presence on & off the track. Such a shame Ronnie Russell didn't have the sense to see it when he had the chance to sign him.

Nearly 50% of the Poole team is Ipswich assetts so what exactly is your pathetic point as speedway is & has always been big on loan deals.

Has Troy now been passed to ride for the Robins as I've not seen anything to confirm it on any web-site????

Then why put the meeting on the fixture list in the first place if they were worried about getting a low turnout?.

Had changed my mind & was going to go tonite but yet again Wincey Willis gives the promotion a weather forecast & they bin it. Wat a bloody joke this sport has become.

Don't matter what the riding line up is as I won't be wasting my money watching that Great Britain team.

I still have the mentality of a 10 year old though so does that mean I get in free??. Seriously it looks like my Thursday nights won't be spent at The Abbey anymore as simply can't justify paying for me & my 12 year old. The promotors have every right to charge what they want so i'm just stating my case before anyone has a pop.

I was 11 in 1978 so guess that means full price for me till I'm an oap.

I gave it a miss last nite but the news that under 11's have to pay will mean no more speedway for me as simply to expensive now & sorry as much as the promotors need to do this, just how many people will now stop going because of it.

I stopped buying a programme a few years back as couldn't read or had a job to fill it in on a dark night as the lighting is to bad at The Abbey on the back straight & all I do now is go on to speedway updates if I want to see the points scored by each rider.

Why then did Swindon release riders before they knew their team?. I'm a Swindon fan through & through but have to say i'm also a speedway fan & our promotors could've handled this one hell of alot better & we would be screaming from the rooftops if it was the other way round.

I agree with you & am still puzzled at why the team was put together with so little points left for the reserves. Gonna be a lot of home 5-1 in heat 2 this season though.

I totally agree with you as thought the same when I read that Darcy Ward was going to stay out of trouble in future & how un-realistic is that??

Not sure on that as lot of pressure on Nick & the reserves for me.
