a squad system should have happened years ago & I've never understood why they are so reluctant to do it.

They shouldn't be allowed to as the riders will have to be of similar ability & any team would be stronger with a fit Adam Roynon in it. This is going to be so interesting how they sort these riders out but I bet certain clubs will come off better than the others & that should only happen if those riders are their assets & they have had a National league team with them in. Lets just hope the December meeting gives a clearer indication of the riders etc.

Would be unbeatable too as I've no doubt you'll do ok with the draft riders as well.

It might be my mate winding me up but both Poole & Birmingham are prepared to offer him a contract & he's stalling on Swindon now. As I said it might be crap but he's usually not far off the pulse.

No not really as can't see Swindon not having PK in the team & then there can't be room for Troy.

It was last season as well but the chuckle brothers let him go out on loan so nothing was certain for 2014 before this announcement. I suppose Ales Dryml turned them down & they had to use Richie instead. Fricke might be Swindon bound.

As the title says really but I just can't see how teams are announcing riders when they have no idea of how the heats of a race meeting are going to work.

I thought he didn't have to bad a record at Lakeside for a away rider & will only get better when it's his home track?.

From what I was told today by a National League rider they might have their backs up against the wall if they think they will have a host of riders taking up the chance. It appears most that he knows are simply not interested.

Can't see Batch at Swindon in 2014 unfortunately as he is ready for the next stage of his career in my opinion.

Could be a good way of team building as the no's 2 & 4 would score well especially at home but how teams can be finalised without a match race format is the main problem.

Won't get very good odds at the bookies who that could be would you?.

Well as the days go by the pathetic joke is left to continue getting worse by the day.Why would a young rider want to ride in the top league rather than the other 2 leagues & who are these riders? No thought has gone into this & it's becoming ridiculous as the lack of information continues.

Think Ash will need a couple of months in just the Premier lge first after his injury. Would like to see Troy back with us but I guess that would mean no PK & I can't see that happening. Bit of a risk with 2 Danes as guess both will want to ride in Denmark & will Jason & Nick not want to ride in Premier lge. What about Simon Gustaffson?.

Sorry if you feel insulted by the word I used & maybe moaning would have been better. No not a Poole fan although have watched speedway a lot there over the years as spend a fair bit of time holidaying on the South Coast & have always enjoyed it as a neutral speedway fan on the night. Other promotors do promote but don't do it as a full time job & also as has been said before the are in & around Poole is a very wealthy area which must help. This is speedway & so to compare it to football is totally irrelevant & these rules have always been around just like rider control was in the 60's, 70's & 80's. In those days Chris or Darcy would have been given to another club & there would've been nothing anyone could do about it. Things had to change & whilst I don't agree with some of them we simply can't have riders threatening to walk away if they can't have their own way. Crikey just because I don't agree with you that everything is stacked against Poole is hardly an insult or put down to you or to Poole fans. This is a forum.

You can still have both Darcy & Chris in 2014 & will also have a very good reserve in Kyle Newman so I fail to see what your moaning about. Yes the limit is drastic but british speedway simply can't keep being threatened every season by riders sayin they'll walk away if they don't get there own way.

The only trouble I see is that a certain rider who is not classed as a "wobbler" was accused by some of being a part in Ricky Ashworth's bad crash & pushing riders to soon can only risk these sort of incidents by them overiding.

You obviously didn't follow the sport when certain clubs including POOLE didn't want 2 riders with a 8 point average in any team then did you?. The rules have been made so stop whining.

The teams who have run junior sides should now get the reward for that by being able to use their assets or riders they've given track time to & the rest who didn't, well you had the chance.
