Don't think Jason will be at Swindon now in 2014 as for whatever reason he wants away & that's thrown Swindon's plans in the air.

I think I'll be saving lots of money next season as I don't want to see 75 second races & crashes to go with them holding up meetings. Only bringing back Doyley will encourage me to return & that seems very doubtful as well. Yes the season is along way away but there is no real news of any kind coming from Blunsdon & that worries me.

Maybe Horton borrowed the "tapping up" book from Matt Ford as he's the master at it.

There lies the problem that people seem to be overlooking as if you have a decent top 5 & poor picks at reserve then basically you're buggered. Amazing how the rider with the most Elite league experience happens to be an asset of Poole. All I wanted was fairness & although they've tried it hasn't worked.

Speedway riders are known to say a lot of things as Jason told someone I know that he will be back at Swindon in 2014 & was hoping for contracts in Poland & Sweden which means no Premier League. I certainly won't be happy if Swindon made him an asset & he again ends up somewhere else in 2014.

Good to see Jon Cook showing no bias to his own club when this protected list was constructed. All these clubs who have had years of running national League teams & Lakeside never have but get a preotected asset. It really could only happen in speedway.

Rory seems to be the modern day Travis Mcgowan where every season people say he has a false average & they should sign him.

Doesn't matter a jot whether they come from Europe or Britain as it seems the same old clubs benefit when it should only be a protected asset if they've rode for that club in the National League. Have any of the protected 4 done that as I don't think Lakeside or Poole have ever had a team in it & Morris rode for Dudley not Wolves?. As clear as mud but at least John Cook didn't show a bias to Lakeside did he when making this decision!!!!!.

Newman has the most experience of riding in the Elite league so his premier league average shouldn't mean because riders have higher averages there they are rated above him.Also can't be done on what they will become but what they have done previously so potential shouldn't come into it. I know no-one will believe me but this isn't me being anti-Poole.

Easy to say that though isn't it when it wouldn't have mattered who Kyle was an asset in reality. You keep believing that though as that's the easy thing to do.

Ashley Birks came through the NL & has a Elite lge average of 3. so why is he not on the list?. I have no problem with any if the other riders as they all have limited Premier Lge experience but the name of Kyle Newman sticks out like a sore thumb.He is so much more experienced than the rest & will clean up. Dodgy 4 point foreigners in the past have benefitted by own club Swindon in the past & I didn't agree with it but this was supposed to be a clean broom. Sorry doesn't look like it to me.

An endless struggle & possibly then lost to the sport for good.

A tough one really as if Ash can get himself fit for the start of the season he will be in big demand as a reserve but it's a big ask for him to be in the main team.

I agree with you entirely but was merely pointing out that if he gets fit & is flying then the team he signs for will have a great advantage. The situation is the same with Ashley Birks who will also be coming back from a bad injury. I think this is one almighty cock up & there are so many things to iron out.

How as if Poole for example had Darcy & Chris sharing a slot & being paid half a contract each how can that be more money & the same could happen with all the other riders as well. it's not that difficult & shouldn't be more expensive.

How can you say that would be hard to beat at home when we have no idea how many points the reserves will score from their 8 rides?. Hope if Mads has chosen Lynn over Swindon then a swap deal with Rory is done.
