Not a chance does he have an 8 point average in him now as he is always looking over his shoulder & bottles every ride that he doesn't partner a heat leader. I was happy when he signed for Swindon but would never want him back as always went missing when a big ride was needed.
-
I regularly went to Poole the season they finished bottom & there wasn't many there at all & could easily get a seat in the main stand every time so there' were plenty of fickle fans then. Were you one of them as you seem to have forgot that??
-
Amazing how a rider in a Poole race suit suddenly becomes a potential heat leader when they've shown no evidence in the past at Swindon or Belle Vue. Just waiting for him being a potential GP rider post next.
-
That's a shame as he had a really good season in the Premier League.
-
He rode the best race of the season when he kept Ward & Holder at bay in Heat 15 at Poole by somehow covering both the inside & outside of the track.
-
Strange that KK is due a testimonial this season & now not riding here. Always liked him as when he was on form he was brilliant to watch at Swindon & at Poole & maybe an enigma but had a terrific race style.
-
He did nothing in Heat 8 or Heat 14 all season Steve & not just bombed out in the play offs & to blame Hans & Troy is really ridiculous as Kennett has been around along time & is the biggest choker I've ever seen in a Swindon Race jacket.
-
Point 1- Yes fair enough. Point 2- You're having a laugh.
-
Oh there's a surprise you don't rate Swindon's team but guess all they have to do for you to change that view would be sign for Poole!!!. Can you let me know the last 2 signings as it's a pretty daft thing to say without knowing who they are surely?? Surely Linus has to be worth a shout as he was quality in 2011.
-
Why has Micky Dyer retired as he had a good season in the Premier League until he was sh.t on by Poole in the Play offs??

Elite League Draft Riders
Crazy robin replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
There are things I could say but I'll leave it to the riders who witnessed Ricky's crash & gave their opinions on it. -
Not a chance will he improve that average & Nick attained his average in the main body of the team unlike Hougaard who's was down to his purple patch at reserve. I bet you'd be saying different if Nick had been a Poole rider. He scored a lot of points the first time he rode for Belle Vue at Swindon as a reserve but has done nothing when in the main team.

It's not a nasty post at all but a reality post on the 3 riders & show me facts that would show me otherwise?. Which will be alot better than 95% of the riders in the draft will achieve. -
Thank god for that then as Hougaard only got that average from a long spell at reserve & I see no improvement in it. It looks like we're waiting to see if Eastbourne are going to use Gustaffson before any further team announcements are made.

Smart has had more than enough chances as has Simon Lambett & the less said about Paul Starke after the part he had in Ricky Ashworth's accident the better. -

Josh Auty, Adam Roynon & Ashley Birks are all young British riders who have been kicked on the nuts by the rule. Be interesting in a couple of years where these guys are & the ones who have been gifted a place at reserve this season. -
I can only see another season of injuries as riders will be pushing themselves to much for their ability. I hope I'm wrong as injuries have ruined to many good riders in the past.
-
The only thing that stopped them from "cutting it" was injuries.
-
The best team by a distance so far & good to see a club who've helped nurture young British talent being rewarded with the new rules.
-
Yeah he would but would he turn up??
-
They can only do that if the rider lets them so this must mean he must be going elsewhere.
-
Can't see MJJ being a target as he would cost too much.
