Not as big as the disparity between the 3 Premier Lge boys & the rest though. Lee Smart has been around a long time & has had some very good seasons so is his lack of form down to him becoming a bad rider or simply riding poor equipment?. He also is probably the most experienced rider out of the whole lot & with the right backing which I'm sure Poole speedway will give him could turn his form round. One thing's for sure he'll never get a better chance to do it, surely?.

Would be strange for Peterborough to run on Friday's as that's Coventry's race night so promotors & Ryan can't be in 2 places at once.

The problem with Ash was he does have a Premier lge average alot higher than them 3 riders & although struggled last season does need some help as is in such a difficult position & struggling now for a spot in either lge. Need to take this onto the other thread though as Poole fans will be looking out for me when I go to the South Coast in the summer:-) Amazing how last season Nicolai was all but finished according to most fans but now can name his price as loads of teams want him. It pays to drop your average in some cases.

Can't tell your thinking as a Kings Lynn fan rather than a speedway fan there though can we!!!! Have no problem with assets being assigned to clubs but not riders with a Premier Lge average above 5 as that should've been the cut of. Look at Ashley Birks who attained a elite lge average of barely 3 but is now struggling to get a ride in either lge. Help all young british riders not just some if you want to do it is all I ask & have clear measures in place. Sorry forever blue as couldn't ignore that. Agree totally as the other 17 lads are roughly the same level but those 3 are far superior to the others & that will get proved over the season.

Bloody hell he'll have to be good then as his brother was fantastic at Swindon & still feel that any foreign rider needs British speedway to become a top rider.

Did read & answered the evening up bit with saying hope the 2nd reserve is given a chance as well. Gonna leave it here as have had my say & it's an opinion but time to move on.

I give up as you simply only see things one way & not for the good of the sport. I've had my say on it & will look forward to Newman, Garrity & Kerr cleaning up in the top league in the reserves race & hope that the 2nd reserve is giving a chance as well but I somehow doubt it. Will gladly apologise if proved wrong but NO RIDER regardless of who's asset they are, where they live should've been allowed in the draft with a Premier Lge average above 5. I only wish Swindon had an asset just so I could prove that this isn't a club bias.

How long a rider is riding should be irrelevant as Kerr averaged above 5 so obviously has more talent than a rider who has been riding longer but hasn't attained that average yet. Swindon surely will make sure they use the points limit wisely & go as closely to it as possible so can't see Ash being signed as that would leave a whole point spare.

No draft rider should've been allowed in it with a Premier Lge average over 5 whether they were an asset of a top league club or not. I guess it's going to be a good time for any young British rider with regards 2015 onwards as clubs will be fighting over them to make them assets & that is a good thing for them. But I don't think Garrity, Kerr or Newman should've been in the draft.

I sent an e-mail to Swindon a couple of years ago asking why they don't do a season ticket for a set amount of meetings rather than just all the meetings but never got a reply. If it was my business I would do it on a 6, 12 or full season ticket basis as I've never got one as we go away over the season & then it doesn't make sense. Speedway clubs have to try different things or at least canvass fans views.

There lies the main problem with a draft system as the top 5 have to have riders who will have to raise their average. There is potential in the top 4 named so far but is it enough for a play off place?. I guess it remains to be seen but I think Simon was the best we could've got on that average & I would pre-fer a combination of him plus one than Zengota plus a 3 pointer. It certainly is a big season for Simon.

When you look at who the 2nd strings will be riding against then Nicolai wouldn't be a bad signing even with his downside in form. Always liked Dakota North & he's a Favourite of Rosco.

So he isn't allowed to ride as a draft rider in the top league & now struggling to get a spot in the Premier League. Oh how these new rules have helped our young British riders, NOT!!!!!!!!!!.

Leicester should've been given the first pick in the draft rider's as they do with the new teams in USA rather than assume Peterborough's pick.

Cory had a lot of help from Leigh Adams & also from Steve Johnston & I think it effected him when they both left Britain & Leigh's bad injury might have had an effect as well.

So it ain't looking good for Ash then?.

Nick could be in trouble as Peterborough are a Thursday night track as well as Swindon. What a mess & looks like Brady might be able to do the Aussie championships after all if he's now on a different average.

Oh didn't realise that & also guess if Peterborough do go into Premier Lge then Dakota would be in their team & they're a Thursday night track.

Thought Nick had signed for Somerset?. My point was it could be a new rider with Ullamek.

Just seen a bloke with big teeth in Rosco's lorry but not sure if it was Jurica Pavlic or Sylvester McCoy. Does Ullamek & Birks/Doolan fit?.
