Lets just be honest & say that the sport is a shambles & whilst these new ideas have been brought in for 2014 for the alledged right reasons they are going to cause even more problems with how the proposed race format is done. Stick a 2nd string in easy races & get him an improved average & then bring in the likes of Kasperzak etc to take his place. Lets see how long that takes or will the clowns who refuse to announce the race format come on with a way round that not happening?. Sorry I have no faith in them at all.

Jason has rode in Britain for how many seasons in both leagues, has appeared in the World Team Cup for his country, has always attained a decent average & doesn't have a criminal record so how would he be refused a work permit is simply ridiculous.

Absoloute tosh as I went many times to watch Poole in the season they were at the bottom of the league & you could get a parking space in the main car park 5 minutes before the meeting started & could even get a seat in the main stand as well. Poole have a hardcore of genuine fans that do fit into the group you obviously belong too but they have plenty of glory fans as well & that season certainly proved that. Never a truer post wrote.

Reserve riders will be more important in 2014 than ever before especially as they will stay there for the whole season unlike before when they had to go into the main body after a good scoring run at reserve.

I was watching a programme on Aussie immigration & how they refuse to let people into their country with criminal records for possesion of drugs etc. Think of the trouble certain speedway riders would have if that was the case in Britain.

Eddie went missing after Heat 8 in most meetings even before the play offs.

Not a chance as at least Smolinski won important races late in meetings unlike Eddie.

Jason will ride for Somerset if there's a fixture clash & agree with what you're saying but it does seem to be a major block for Nick.

Nick would have a problem riding in the away Premier Lge meetings on Thursday's though & that would be a problem for him on a earning scope & his team who would have no claim on him.

I would love to watch Pawlicki each week & he might not get his assessed average but it will be worth the risk as he's quality.

Well apart from the usual comments from the Poole "Trolls" the one good thing about the signing of Nicolai must mean that Nick is staying at Swindon or surely they'd wait until it was sorted before signing the last rider?. I certainly don't expect Nicolai to hit the heights of his previous spell with the Robins but with the points what was left he's as good as we could've got & contrary to the idiot from the South Coast not all riders can be or have to be top riders in a team sport. There is promise amongst the team but it remains to be seen if it's good enough for the play offs with the reserves we've got. Just hope what the "tabloid" reporter Andy Warren is tweeting is just the usual rubbish he comes up with regarding Nick. Ashley Birks averaged 3 last season so is Milik really only a point better a rider than he is as that what his assessed average suggests?.

Get either Doyley or Mads back & say sorry Leicester but they're are assets after all. I especially like the thought of Doyley as that would screw up Somerset who are too blame for this in the first place.

Ash would be mad to accept a full time spot in the top league after his injury or even if he was fully fit. It has put too many riders back by doing it & he needs to regain fitness & confidence.

Swindon will be drip feeding this to the fans but I'd guess that there is plenty going on behind the scene & whilst they might want to hold onto Nick I've a feeling Nick wants to now go elsewhere. Don't think it will be sorted out anytime soon either.
