Steve seems to be available to guest for every other team in the lge though which just makes it even worse. I guess the real reasons of why Swindon let Josh go & whether it had anything to do with Sheffield dropping their interest In Nick will never be known but it is what it is. Swindon do seem to have slipped up letting Steve join The Aces as an asset though when they should've got him first.

Ashley Birks was refused a place on the draft even though he appeared in the National Lge after certain other riders in it & was recovering from a bad injury. I could go on but have said how I feel before about him & other's who weren't allowed in it but I bore myself now

Don't think Martin was as quick last night without his magic ignition button on his handlebars though. What is all that about?.

Look at Adam Ellis at Ipswich & the 2 Lewis's at Newcastle as well then if you want as they're exactly the same?. This draft was solely a cost cutting exercise & is proving that it's easier to score points in the Elite lge than what they are doing in the Premier lge.

Guess the engine tuner is spending more time on some riders engines than the others which is clearly what Tai was saying last night. Just cos they have the same tuner doesn't mean he treats them the same so in this instance it might not be down to the rider.

Compare the scoring of Lewis Bkackbird at Swindon & then to the 1 point at Workington last night & can you really say that it is really helping them progress?. Surely he should be scoring better than that if the draft system is working??

I think most promotors,team managers & fans feel exactly the same way about how this draft can have negative effects on the riders especially the 2nd pick riders. Things should've been put in place right at the beginning of it or simply there will be no riders left in the end & then what happens. I'm not disputing anyone's concern for the riders & it just goes back to how little thought went into how things were going to be dealt with effectively.

They do love the old "confidence is low" quote when looking at replacing a rider do these team managers.

Steve seems to be doing better in his guest appearances than he does for Swindon this week.

Got 2 in Heat 14 but both because of mistakes by Steve Worrall.

Top 5 for Lions is 4 Swindon assests & 1 old boy & then Steve at reserve for Eagles. Looks like such a good stadium & such a shame the track is the way it is.

Crickey he has a high opinion of himself as all the other draft riders are travelling to home meetings. The ego has landed if this is in fact true.

That was why I put a smiley face at the end as watched it on 365 & thought there was some decent racing.

It shows how un competitive the actual meeting was when all people are interested in is the music played:-)

Amazing that all these posts are about a rider who has barely scored a point in the Premier Lge this season. Just goes to show how much the draft riders dictate meetings this season. A very clever move by Matt when you compare what Swindon did when Josh left & they got Darryl in who was so much lower in the list & then when he got injured we were so limited.

The trouble is he would miss lots of meetings & it's bad enough getting a decent guest as Bjarne proved last night.
