Still seems bloody daft to let an asset screw up team plans like Rosco has with Nick.
I doubt anyone else would’ve been allowed to call the shots like he has & a long tail again like last season when Rosco vowed it wouldn’t happen again.
I think/hope Rosco has all 7 signed & sealed already.
Shame it seems no room for Palm-Toft who would be a great signing.
If rumours are true the no 2 position could be a problem as 3 riders mentioned are all reserves but one will be at No 2.
No it could mean our no 2, 6 & 7 out of their depth.
No way would Poole have let a rider go when it’s obvious his average will go up again next season.
I think Batch could’ve gone to Peterborough or Ipswich even with Buster owning them.
Weak bottom end again it is then but glad to see Troy show loyalty that was lacking from Nick.
Hope Rosco has better riders than what we ended up with at no 7 last season.
I’d like to think Swindon would say no thanks to Nick if he attains that average as the loyalty the club have shown him especially last year has been dumped on them from a very high point.
Think it will be Troy so going to be interesting who the last few signings are because we can’t make the same mistake as last season with weak reserves.
Then don’t sign one of them as the extra point between Nick & Troy’s average is now a real pain.
Sign someone like Jack Holder over Troy & then use the extra point or you just have the same problem as last season.
One things for sure Steve the average Nick had last season would’ve meant him missing out on a team berth if Swindon hadn’t used him.
Poole or Wolves would’ve played hard ball & made him stay on his average but Swindon roll over.
Joke really as Nick was chosen over Jason last season & then when his average, which he attained riding for us will now benefit another club. Thanks a lot Nick!!
Any business would announce a previous World Champion & their rider of the season first if they had any sense as that’s what the fans want & sets the appetite.
Anders Rowe unless he was unavailable but as that hasn’t been mentioned then I guess he was. Belle Vue used Kyle & Sargent is always a crap guest for us.
Well done to The Robins on a good win.
Shame it’s going to be in vein as in a top 4 place but any win over Poole is a good one.
Just got to wait for Steve Shovlar’s match report & excuses as couldn’t make it tonight.
Probably thought if I tell Steve Shovlar “I love to tell people” then their would be no need to as he loves being in the know & couldn’t keep quiet in an empty room.
