King's Lynn V Swindon 14/05/14 Sky Meeting
Crazy robin replied to Bagpuss's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Won heat 15 at home to Poole & then shared in a match winning 5-1 at home to Eastbourne so he does have his moments & a good ride in Heat 15 last night. -

I think both Bjarne & Davey will have their reputations tarnished for how they've rode against Poole which is a shame as both have been loyal servants to british speedway but their just ain't no co-incidence with it.- 143 replies

Sorry don't think Leigh Adams & Davey can be compared to each other as one was a complete professional & could ride from the back & the other one is Davey. -

No thanks we never win at Poole without him in the team so what chance would we have with him in it. -

I'd imagine he's already tried that & you havn't had to put up with reading the excuse after excuse from Simon in the local rag since the season started or you'd feel exactly as the majority of Swindon fans do. -

Can't wait for the response from Aces51 to those facts & there was me thinking Simon scoring points & earning more money would be a motivation. Rosco did well to hold his thoughts in. -

There was me thinking he's a professional speedway rider who gets 6 months off in the winter. -

I thought Rosco did well as I would've thought he could've & should've said a lot more & handed the bloke his cards there & then. -

Good as his time is up & these young Swede's are really to be avoided these days as most of them are a joke. -

Thank god I've just come in to watch the Heat 13 re-run & the flying Simon in Heat 14. I think I'll leave it there as the blood pressure is high enough anyway -
Ain't it funny when you look how good British riders were then & how average Polish one's were. Bit different on both things now.

Can't believe they havn't got Leornard Raba way in their as well:-)

Can only see an easy home win & also no chance of Steve having more than 5 rides as so few team managers seem to take an under performing rider in the top 5 out of a race. He will just replace Nathan in one of his races as is per the norm in the Elite this season with the 2nd draft rider only getting 3 rides. Hope they change that next season. -

Just can't think of another option as Simon has had long enough & should be gone now. Unless a gem can be found I don't know what else can be done as agree Eddie wouldn't be on my list ideally as had enough of him last season. Or is it we're wrong wanting another change?. Fair points & chill pill taken -

What & keeping Simon is?. I'd rather Swindon looked for a potential foreign 5 pointer but would go for a cheaper option like Eddie because Swindon simply don't have the money to go down the foreign route. As I said earlier time to just enjoy this young Swindon team without the pressures of a play off push. Oh & that was Troy's first bad score, how many has Simon had?. -

Good. One good thing coming out of tonight as a Swindon fan was seeing a flying Woffy. -

Good as we might have well have Eddie back as he will be cheaper than paying for flights for Simon. A season to just enjoy a young Swindon team as it's not good enough for a play off challenge. -

Congratulations to Wolves on a solid team performance & to many mistakes by Swindon riders in point scoring positions. Oh & time to get rid of Simon now as if he can't beat a draft reserve then enough is enough. It's just like watching Eddie Kennet again bottling Heat 14.
