Streaming Tv For All Speedway
Bradford Ace replied to cuorelibero's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
after trying the Bydgoszcz v Wroclaw meeting several times & getting the same msg, it then suddenly started working so just watched the whole meeting now. Great win for the home side being 6 points down with 4 races to go. A 5-1 over Crump & Nicholls in Heat 13 was the big turning point. Some decent racing & worth watching as both Lindback & Sajfutdinov were very quick & good from the back. Just tried the Gdansk v Torun meet & that seems to be ok as well. Will probs watch that tomorrow when the Belle Vue meeting is called off as supposed 2 be heavy rain in Manchester from the afternoon onwards!! -

Hi all having a nightmare trying to get the Gdansk match online that started a bit ago. Was nice & easy last yr but looks like u have to pay this time which complicates things somewhat!! I think i've logged in butncant seem to get to the bit where i have to pay Can someone who has done it give me a step by step guide how to do it as i'm not the best with this technology lark, esp when all the instructions are in Polish!!! Can hopefully get sorted to watch the Leszno meeting live -
Aye, they've also cut the Wroclaw to Liverpool flight that used to fly each sunday evening at 9.30pm getting back into Liverpool for about 11.00pm. Used it twice last yr after the Bydgoszcz Gp's & was hoping to use it after Leszno this time. Its about a 6 hr train journey from Bydgoszcz to Wroclaw which was a good laugh but still a long way so thought the Leszno trip was all set up nicely this year. Go there for the GP on the sat nite & then Wroclaw r at home to Torun the day after so we had planned to take in this meeting & then it'd be a short taxi ride across Town for the evening flight home instead of the usual 6 hr train journey but sadly not to be!! Bloody Ryanair, i've fallen out with em now!!!

So the deadline has now passed then. A lot of teams have surprisingly only got 5 senior riders named so any injuries means the top boys can only be replaced by juniors which could seriously hamper them. Roll on early April now!!
-
Is there a transfer deadline day as i'm sure i read somewhere before that all teams had to be finalised by a certain date?? I notice that most clubs seem to have only 5 seniors signed up so if anyone gets injured or is unavailable they will be struggling with their team. Presume more signings will be added to combat this potential problem??
-
Still a chance of 7 rides tho so you're always gonna put the strong one at number 7 for this reason. A lot of Number 6's will get a bit of experience with the odd ride then. Something maybe us in the Elite League shud look at?? Looking forward to it tho, only 3 months to go!! Do u know whats happening with tv rights etc?? Watched 2 matches most weekends last season on itvp.pl (i think!!) so hope its the same for this season.
-
Thanx mate so presume that the teams will put their weakest junior at number 6 7 the strong one at 7 then?? So for Bydgoszcz, Emil can replace the number 6 as well as any of the top 5 that are out of form??
-
This prob gets asked every yr so my apologies but what r the rules for the Ekstraliga?? Watched quite a few meets last yr online but mainly followed Bydgoszcz via the internet in Liga 1. Its a 7 man team with one U21 or two?? Also, how many Poles have to turn out each week?? Sure Sajfutdinov was number 8 for Bydgoszcz last season so presume Liga 1 is different.

Bradford Ace replied to Mateusz's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup

I'm thinking of coming over for a league match early on at Bydgoszcz, maybe even the 1st one v Wroclaw. Is is easy to get a ticket for or can you just pay on the day?? Presume as its now an Ekstraliga match that more fans will turn up?? -
Wild Cards For 09
Bradford Ace replied to beesbarmyarmy's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Pretty much agree that Bomber is a lucky boy & its simply down to the ticket sales for Cardiff as the main reason he's in. Did both Bydgoszcz GP meetings but must say i will now have to go again next yr to see Sajfutdinov round there!! To see him, Gollob & AJ tearing it up will be a sight to see....if it rains that is & the track produces a dirt line like the "German" Gp rather than the motorway it resembled for the one 5 weeks previously!! When are the dates going to be confirmed though?? Bit ridiculous that we know all the riders but dont know the dates of the GP's themselves. Want to decide which ones to go for so i can book in early!! -
Wild Cards For 09
Bradford Ace replied to beesbarmyarmy's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Totally agree there Steve. Very disappointed Holder hasnt got a spot as i thought he was pretty much nailed on after his performances in all 3 leagues this yr, getting championship medals in each. Glad Emil got one but thought the 2 young uns would ruffle some feathers in 09 but suppose we'll have to wait til 2010 now!! Gives Poole a great chance of defending their title now tho he has no GP distractions!! I'd have put Holder in front of Lindgren altho can understand why they wanted him in, same goes for Scotty. But Zagar, WTF?? Was at Zielona Gora for the GP challenge meet & he was well off the pace when i thought he'd really put it in for that meeting & he was one of the biggest disappointments on the day. Seems 2 have a half hearted attitude so hope he pulls his finger out cos he's been a lucky boy getting this pick!! -

Chris Holder For Next Weekend's Gp
Bradford Ace replied to KrisB's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
If its anyone then its gotta be Sajfutdinov. Double & current under 21 champ on his home track, its a no brainer surely?? After watching him every week there this season on the internet let me tell ya, this guy could seriously do some damage there!! -
Oh yeah, he definitely knows what he's doing does T Rick so he's in good hands. Not sure re Poland. Was looking at the Polish League thread & it was on there that a few had re-signed with Bydgoszcz for next season & then it mentioned Lindback but wasnt sure it was official or just rumoured?? Hope he does sign for them cos its a cracking race track & they'll have such an exciting team to watch with him, AJ & Sajfutdinov. Whatever happens, i think given a yr or so under T Ricks wing that AL will be challenging at the top where he deserves 2 be with his talent.
-
Great 2 see him back & with Tony Rick in his corner then i think he can be a force again after losing his way for a yr or 2. Really enjoyed him riding for the Aces last yr but shame he is only riding for the start of the season in England. Who's gonna want 2 sign him for 6 weeks only?? Is it correct that he has signed for Bydgoszcz in Poland or is that just a rumour at this stage??

Bradford Ace replied to Blazeaway's topic in International World of Speedway
I think it goes without saying mate that i speak for every1 in saying the coverage was phenomenal this season. Never thought in a million yrs that i'd be able to watch meetings from one of the best race tracks in the world every week on the internet. Really really hope that the Ekstraliga sees sense & lets you carry on the fantastic coverage you bring us all every week from Bydgoszcz although knowing their ridiculous regulations then they'll probably throw a spanner in the works!! Wont be the same watching Polonia without your commentary so fingers x'd for next season and here's to a successful return to the big league for the team -

Got the makings of a decent effort but think it may be best to get a big name Number 1 instead of Okoniewski as from what i've seen this season he's been pretty inconsistant. Does the other U21 rider have to be polish then?? If so, there cant be many about that will make a big difference in the Ekstraliga?? Apart from Gollob, who else is available?? Was thinking maybe Crumpy as Wroclaw's team was very average last yr & he carried it most of the yr but then i remembered what he said after the GP that he never does well there!! -

Was just going to ask the same thing?? Anything else in the pipeline?? Think Lindback will be a terrific signing if he's got his head on cos he seemed to pick it up again at the back of the season after his comeback. Seem to recall him flying round Bydgoszcz when he came as an opposing rider, even passing Sajfutdinov with ease from the back which nobody seems to do!! Looks to be the start of a decent looking team although i presume a few more need to be added?? If they could somehow persuade a certain T Gollob back then things would really be on the up!! -

Great race by Noddy there. Thought he might have been a bit deflated after losing the title in his last race but showed what a fantastic rider he is by producing that after Pavlic left him nothing a couple of times. Tai shud take a leaf out of his book by not chucking the towel in like he clearly did after his tapes exclusion. He'll learn tho i'm sure & will come back bigger & better next yr. For me, Noddy & Emil have 2 be in the GP's as wildcards next yr surely?? Both young exciting & very fast so think they'd both ruffle some feathers of the big boys. Tai is not ready yet. Needs at least one season In Elite League like Holder this yr. Wud do him power of good & then hopefully a wildcard in 2010. -

What a great last race from Sajfitdinov there. Holder looked like he'd beaten him from the start but no way was he letting him thru!! Best rider all day & was stone last in 2 of his races before coming from the back. Missed his defeat to Batchelor in Heat 1 but the only gate he made that i saw was against Holder in the last race. Really really hope somebody in England gets him over here, he's so fantastic to watch & would thrill the english public. Imagine wot Pearson & Tatum wud make of him!!! ps. sad 2 see Wuffy an also ran tho. -

Aye, he's been nearly as bad as Tai!! Presume after his 1st race tapes offence that he hasnt put as much in2 it as he would have dne so will let him off that!! If Sajfutdinov wins his next race its winner takes all with Holder in the last one when they meet!!
