Is the Wroclaw meeting not being shown in full then seen as tho its on Heat 5 already?? This meeting's been dead since about heat 6 so not sure why they're staying with it til the bitter end & not showing a meeting that has the potential to be a lot closer??

Congrats to Tomasz Gollob, World Speedway Champion 2010 Was hoping he might have to work for it in Bydgoszcz but looking like he only has to turn up there now to collect the trophy. Will still enjoy my night there as always but not gonna be the exciting climax i hoped for!!!

How does that work then?? Presume when it gets to the start time at Wroclaw that they will show 1 heat from 1 meeting & then 1 from the other like they do on sky for our play offs???

Fantastic heat 15 from Crumpy & Wroclaw now have 1 foot in the final. Made up for his fall earlier - cant remember the last time i saw him just fall on his own!!! Top effort from Bjerre as well after getting beaten up on 1st bend of heat 14. looking like a Leszno v Wroclaw final now. Roll on sunday!!

I knew as soon as i posted it that someone would make me look stupid!!! Never the best from ZG & dont like the place as doesnt provide much entertainment..closeness of the score keeping it interesting tho & have soft spot for Wroclaw so hope they can keep it as close at the end & they should be favourites for the final then.

Always is in Poland!! We went to Division 1 meeting at Grudziadz the night b4 the Torun GP against Gdansk & it was just the same. The away fans were boxed in on the back straight & the 2 rival fans were chanting at each other all the way through the meeting!!! Track's still cr@p tho. Dont think i've even seen a good meeting at ZG so not surprised they're wanting to change it. No outside line whatsoever & little or no passing.

Must say that its bad enough the GP being off 2nite but 1st thing i thought is that my Bank Holiday Sunday is now gonna be ruined with no Ekstraliga!!!! Damn u Croatian weather!!!

Haha, yeah it is a bit complicated!!! It doesnt matter if you win on aggregate either over the 2 legs as no bonus points so Wroclaw just had to make sure they didnt lose by more than Tarnow did to get through. Would have been interesting if Wroclaw had got 5-1 in heat 15 as would have been level then & presumably a run off to see who was 3rd & who was lucky loser!! Think both would rather ride ZG than Leszno so they would both have probably wanted to lose it!!! Looking forward to sunday now, should be 2 interesting meetings

Understand the new league table for the play offs but how come ZG are at home in 1st leg when they won the play off league as presumed they'd want to be at home in 2nd leg?? Notice that Leszno have 2nd leg at home so is it to do with where you finished at the end of 14 matches rather than the play offs??

Any mention of whether it will be televised yet???

How do the semi's work Mateusz?? Looking like ZG, Leszno, Torun & Wroclaw but how do they decide who rides who in the semi's?? Tempted to start looking at flights i think depending on the dates!!!

Back on now so 2 lovely hrs of action to go!!! I do luv my sunday's with the Polish League, can't beat it!! Hope Terry Russell flogs the rights to sky or ESPN for next season as that wud be awesome!!!

Thats what i thought last season but i'm sure someone said it was like a little mini league ie 2 points for a win & so if thats the case Gorzow have 0 and cant get through unless Wroclaw win at Torun or Tarnow win at Leszno?? May be wrong but thats what i thought?? Looks like they have their work cut out at Torun but never say never in Poland. I was at Wroclaw for the 92 World Final & it was a miracle they got that meeting on!!

Am i right in thinking that Gorzow are now out of the play offs unless Torun or Leszno lose at home?? They havent got a win so if its 2 home wins in the other 2 meetings that means that 5 of the 6 have won at least one meeting meaning their season is now done?? Gollob only gonna have tuesday nights in Sweden now so wonder if he'd consider a return to England til end of season to keep him on the pace????

Gotta say i'd like to see one of the young Russians get in for next yr along with Emil who will get a wildcard. Surprised how well they ride the small tracks & always in the mix. Both Laguta's have been good value thus far Havent seen much of Karpov b4 tho & am v impressed with him. Cracking white line rider & missed the start Harris style there & nearly got the win on the line. Presume he rides in Poland???

Matuesz, Any news from over there on Emil?? I know Gollob is a god in Bydgoszcz but how do you all feel about him now given that he has probably relegated you if Emil's break is confirmed?? Cant see you beating Czestochowa over 2 legs without him which would be a disaster

Gutted after the Swedes stole our bronze medal!!!! Lindback does nothing all day & then produces 2 rides like that from nothing which is typical!! we actually outscored the Swedes but they got 4 from their joker to our none which was the difference in the end. Thought Bomber was absolute class (apart from the Joker!!)& Tai & Rico tried hard. Steady did what i thought he would do & that was be totally outclassed by every1 as well outta his depth at this level but biggest disappointment was Nicholls with 5 3rds only. After he flew at KL i thought he was back to his best but struggled from the off 2day & couldnt get going. Turned in2 a cracking meeting tho & never really expected us to get so close so makes it even harder to swallow to get pipped at the post!!! Big well done to the Poles, showing they can produce it outside their own country.

What does this mean exactly, that the Ekstraliga will be on a UK TV channel or what???? Love watching my 2 meetings each weekend online so if i could manage to get them on my big plasma with a slightly better picture i'd be ecstatic!!!

Very very dull so far & making BV on a monday nite look exciting!!!! Is it just me or can ya barely hear the commentators?? Very loud music there & sounds as if sky need to turn the volume up a bit in the comm box!!! Also dont like the camera position at the start which seems very low. Hopefully it'll get better!!!!

Enjoyed both meetings 2day. Must say the racing at Wroclaw is much better these days. keep hearing them talking about a "new track" so what have they done exactly to it?? To me it does look a bit wider on the 4th turn especially so have they taken the racing line in a bit cos thats what it looks like?? Looking a good side this yr are Wroclaw & play offs gonna be very competitive with them Leszno, Gorzow & Torun all looking very good. The league is split in 2 this yr with 4 sides doing well & 4 very poorly. Gonna be a race for the bottom 4 now to finish 5th & 6th & get in2 the play offs at the right end of the table!!

Yeah, i was there for that & it was shocking. Have been waiting about 3 seasons to see a league meeting at Bydgoszcz & it was probably their worst home meeting for years!!! I must be a jinx i reckon!!! Hope Emil is back soon as dont want to be stuck in 7th or 8th for too long. Cant see AJ or Walasek being as bad as against Wroclaw so i think it'll be a decent home win. Hope so anyway!!!

Just go on the Grand Prix website which is www.speedwaygp.com & click on the news part rather than where it says tickets & it gives you a link called Bydgoszcz tickets. Click on that & it takes ya to www.kupbilet.pl & its pretty easy to follow from there as you can translate the page into english. We got Sector B tickets which is anywhere on the back straight & 3rd, 4th bends
