I personally think that a load of rubbish. How often do we hear "the track will be fine after a couple of heats"? Chuck a couple of riders out (even juniors) before meeting for a few laps and the track will settle in nicely ready for the action!

Is your Uni one of the crazy few who hold exams on Saturdays? I know a couple of years ago alia_kel_aderon had a Saturday exam on the day of the GP - it was quite a rush for her and she only had to cme from Swansea!

You can't get them to turn up for 1 ELRC meeting, never mind multiple meetings!

The atmosphere is far more relaxed and friendly on GP weekend. Although I've only seen violence at 1 game in Cardiff (excluding Cardiff City matches!) there is always an air of tension I find. Except when Wales played Poland - I guess Polish sports fans in general are just great!

Alternatively, park in my street and get the train from Newport. Parking is free, my mother will keep an eye on your cars and most importantly you p**s all my neighbours off into the bargain!

From what I can tell, the link you posted says it is closed Eastbound (going away from Cardiff) on the 11th June and Westbound (going towards Cardiff) on the 12th June. If thats right it should be perfect for travelling to and from the G.P. (although I stand to be corrected).
