Thanks for the info on Ty. This may seem like a silly question, as they could be way apart with reagrds to talent, but just read all of it: How does Ty compare to Arlo Bugeja? The reason i ask is because i don't know the level of competition in regular season racing and when Budgie came over here, he was beating every rider in our 2nd halves race after race. But when he raced for the Bears (the main team), it was a bit too much too soon and just wasn't ready. Does Ty have better machinery and have they ever raced each other?

Kozza is at Kings Lynn this season...or did you mean Poland, Sweden etc? How did Ty Proctor look and does he race similar to anyone that we know in Europe?

I got the Backtrack for the 1st time on Monday by pure accident it must be said . I did the usual routine of going to get the Speedway Star from the Redcar track shop, not stopping to think it wasn't our normal race night So i swapped the Star for Backtrack (plus a £1 ). I really enjoyed reading it, espescially about Russ Hodgson + Cleveland Park because i had't got the chance to see speedway there when it was still going. Both very interesting articles from Redcars finest - Martin Neal The best bit though was reading Mitch Shirra's article and the antics that riders got up to back then. I haven't seen or heard of most the riders in the whole magazine (apart from the famous ones and old Middlesbrough/Teesside riders) but it didn't stop me enjoying my time spent reading it. The 'Danish Shuffle' was a funny bit, but reading about how they used to try and fix races was an eyeopener. I had assumed that this happened/still happenes (maybe) but was amazed at how open he was about it. I will definately be buying the magazine again so keep up the good stuff!

Not familiar with the way the Swedish meetings are run: 1. Are the riders in Heats 15 + 16 all nominated by team managers and do they have to be different riders in each one? 2. Also how are the changes decided ie. Crump allowed to replace Jonarsson in Heat 12? 3. Like BL speedway, can the reserves replace anyone as long as everyone's had a minimum amount of rides?
