'Entertainment' is usually rubbish and that bloke who comes on and sings on his own all of the time (think his first name is Paul) is about as rubbish as the lot!

Seems Sayfutdinov can give out the hard passes but cant take them, Nicholls did nothing wrong.....apart from leaving him in a state where he could still walk after the handbags i suppose.

Ah right, yeh. Assumed as much when trying to work out some of the words on the Polish sites - think most kept coming up with 'derby day' in their meeting preview titles.

Yeh, great race from Jonsson - going very wide on 3 and 4 and then on 1 and 2 to pass Jacek Gollob and then Mroczka. When i was watching the updates i was surprised to see Bydgoszcz have such a poor start with 2 5-1s against them in the opening 2 heats. A decent meeting, not the best i have watched involving Bydgoszcz but some close racing and some good passing. Also, what was happening when the police were shown? Crowd trouble?

What a meeting it was, both in drama and racing.

How about the BSPA get their fingers out their arses and start doing something about British Speedway?

From Mark Webber's BBC Blog: For myself, I have had a busy few days running up to the race. There was the test last week at Silverstone, then I went to the British Speedway Grand Prix in Cardiff on Saturday night. It was a great night's entertainment and it was made even better because an Aussie, Jason Crump, won it. Another Aussie, Leigh Adams, who came up to the Silverstone F1 test, was taken out by a Danish rider who caused a bit of controversy and got booed. There was a great atmosphere in the Millennium stadium and the racing was brilliant - side by side, touching each other and a bit of controversy as well.

The Grease Lightening display was also my first GP and i thought Saturday was the best one since then.........the right amount of time and good music to go with it.

Oh, and one of the highlights of the meeting was the paramedic (small and chubby one) running and tripping over the wire behind the 2nd bend when Holta's bike flew over the safety fence Good on him for having a smile about it

I enjoyed the presentaion...........although i did feel that better music could have been played in the run upto races. Something to increase the tension would be better and at times the music was blaring out when the riders were at the tapes (and going into the first bend!). I, and i assume most others do, have a chat with various people between races and with no kind of build-up music between the heats it was a surprise at times to look down and see the riders already at the starting tapes!

Posted this on Bears forum, my views on the meeting: Just got back, racing wasn't very good but there was alot of incident. When both Adams and Bjarne were excluded the ref should have excluded Nicki, he tried to cut accross everyone on both occasions and was not quick enough. Both Bjarne and Adams kept their line and were wrongly punished. In one of the heats Nicki appeared to touch the tapes and was let off, wrongly again. Dissapointing to see Scotty go through the tapes in the final but with money on Crump, he was the next best thing to a Brit winning (wont mention the £2.50 e/w we had on Kennett).
