  1. The FIM has nothing to do with the EU. It is a global organisation and the governing body of motor cycle racing throughout the World.
  2. It is possibly trying to persuade the FIM to allow him to ride here. Arguments in his favour will be put forward such as having Polish citizenship (his wife is Polish) and residing in Poland since 2009. Whether this is enough remains to be seen.
  3. I don't know where these rumours relating to Emil are coming from. On 5th March 2022 the FIM placed a ban on Russian riders and I cannot see this has been rescinded. https://www.autosport.com/motogp/news/fim-announces-ban-on-russian-belarusian-license-holders/8727244/#:~:text=The FIM has announced a,MotoGP and its supporting classes.
  4. Poland and Denmark. Bookmark this link to do you own research: https://speedwayteams2023.blogspot.com/?fbclid=IwAR0YPcZNeoRoU4Nmo7tmy4mlgtMCyGYoqP2YBda8Q3Eedkyxuw1zOl3HSPE
  5. It could be the Troy Batchelor situation holding things up and waiting to see if he gets a Championship place. This appears impossible now and, having no team on the Continent either, he might decide to stay at home in 2023.
  6. He's on my list: Max Fricke 8.55 Richard Lawson 7.71 Chris Harris 7.40 Nick Morris 6.48 Justin Sedgmen 4.44 Connor Mountain 4.40 38.98 Dan Thompson RS
  7. No. Already signed in Polish 1st Division, Sweden and Denmark.
  8. Yes. Jack Holder 8.61 Tobias Musielak 7.91 Adam Ellis 6.72 David Bellego 5.80 Kyle Howarth 5.28 Lewis Kerr 4.59 38.91
  9. Try this: Jason Doyle 10.32 Danny King 6.41 Erik Riss 6.00 Keynan Rew 4.00 Hans Andersen 4.93 Chris Holder 7.16 38.82
  10. At the moment he wouldn't have to as he has not signed in Sweden or Denmark, just Poland (Lodz). However I expect he will be back at Esbjerg as their current squad is incomplete.
  11. You wont get Francis Gusts. He has already signed up to clubs in Poland, Sweden and Denmark.
  12. Although not part of this topic, is anybody else having difficulty in accessing the BSPL website. I still get the usual message regarding the establishment of a secure connection but no further. It has been like this for the past couple of days.
  13. Before you dismiss Hans entirely, this is his record at Foxhall over the past two seasons: 11+2 (5) 15+2 (6) 11+2 (5) 11+1 (5) 7+1 (5)
  14. It could have been worded better but this means seven man teams to me. POINTS LIMIT: 39.00 for six riders, teams to also include one Rising Star
  15. All to do with scheduling. One day series between England and Australia starts next Thursday.
  16. It should and might have been but for postponements right from outset. Firstly, both original home and away legs of the quarter finals fell foul of the weather and had to be re-staged, Poole having three attempts to get their meeting at Plymouth completed thus delaying the competition by a fortnight. Then they had a further three goes to get past Glasgow before that was completed on 2nd October.
  17. Can't give you a track update but the weather not looking that good according to the met office. https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/forecast/gcr5qn5jy#?date=2022-10-30
  18. Perhaps here are too many competitions placing pressure on the more successful clubs. Those who make the play-offs will invariably reach the latter stages of other competitions as well hence the situation we are in now. By contrast, those who didn't find their seasons effectively over by the end of August in some cases just padding it out by running open meetings or, those who run NDL teams, able to use some of the remaining dates. Some years ago an attempt was made to address this situation. The top six teams went into the play-offs as now and the remaining clubs entered a second competition. Perhaps this instead of a Jubilee league ( this year) or what similar event we've had in the past or in the future might be a solution.
  19. I don't know but what I do know is that the whole play-off fixtures have been protracted from the get-go through nobody's fault just the weather. To begin with both the original stagings of the play-off quarter finals were rained off home and away. It then took Poole three goes before they managed to complete the away leg at Plymouth then a further three to get past Glasgow in the semi. I expect the KO cup fixture against Redcar had already been scheduled by then so, with over half of October left, it would be assumed there shouldn't have been any difficulty in getting the final legs completed. However, if the first leg against Leicester had been run on the 12th, the KO Cup would now be in a similar position ie., not completed.
  20. In other words it took a long time to arrive at the wrong decision. Still, it is a new event and I'm sure they'll get it right should it happen again.
