Glasgow have signed Ben Barker so either Nick Morris or Aaron Summers might have to make way.

Actually, Leigh added over a point to his average in 2015 and achieved almost 6.5 during his short time with Scunthorpe riding @ 5.

If Robert Lambert comes back then there will be no place for Mear, Boxall or Bowen for that matter. Points used so far, 29.98, add 8.34 for Lambert then just 4.18 for the final rider.

Toft is back at Peterborough next season whilst Birks is taking a year out of the sport. Somerset have yet to make any team announcements but Worrell's final average is only .07 less than NBJ's.

You have three of them right.

Quite right, missed that one. I suppose the idea is to try to stop EL riders getting a 'soft' option by moving down and starving the top tier of riders.

The conversion is 1.6 but that's largely irrelevant as why should PK want to ride in our PL and, particularly, on a Saturday then rush off to ride in Poland the following day.

Len's moved on now in case you hadn't noticed.

Starke signed by Leicester.

Thank you for starting this thread. A few things to correct but more important that you get it pinned.

Speedway will have much greater exposure in Denmark because, in sport, they don't have a great deal else to shout about.

Now Len Silver Resigns As Co Promoter Rye House

Not so much buyer beware but seller beware this time. -
Not necessarily. Woodward has an existing EL average from 2014, 6.32. Also, between May and September he rode as a second string so some allowance may be made.

El Averages Weighted To Take Into Account Riding Position
tocha replied to SCB's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I believe 8 x 3 has been 24 since the dawn of time! Ed might be 24th just by using final averages (his is 5.86 BTW) but that is not the object of the excercise. It is to evaluate the performance of riders over the course of last season and specifically those who have alternated between heat leader and second string. I have no idea which method is to be used but one way would be to compare monthly averages achieved in both categories then adjust accordingly. The 6.50 figure seems to have become something of a red herring. It only applies to overseas riders entering our EL for the first time. -
Unfortunate to use the word fixed but, possibly, apt as far as Poole are concerned. However, I am sure the list has been compiled already and Adam is on it. (which he seldom was at he Raceway last year!)

..and they could have at any time by creating an extraordinary general meeting beforehand.

I have just dragged this thread from the archives as decision time is getting rather close. If Lakeside are to enter a team into the EL next year it will have to be declared by the weekend of 17th/18th October. No news from the promotion since 16th September so every day that passes makes it look less likely that they will come to the tapes in 2016.

Based on league results this season Belle Vue have the edge. -
Aces Last Stand - Monmore Green 31/8
tocha replied to T.N.T.'s topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
How so? Last time Belle Vue went down 41 -49. Since then Cook and Fricke have upped their scoring and, although, Nicholls has slipped down to a second-string, this is a track he likes. Also, no Blackbird now and, being 8th on the EDR list, only the also-rans are available to guest
