  1. Unfortunate to use the word fixed but, possibly, apt as far as Poole are concerned. However, I am sure the list has been compiled already and Adam is on it. (which he seldom was at he Raceway last year!)
  2. ..and they could have at any time by creating an extraordinary general meeting beforehand.
  3. I have just dragged this thread from the archives as decision time is getting rather close. If Lakeside are to enter a team into the EL next year it will have to be declared by the weekend of 17th/18th October. No news from the promotion since 16th September so every day that passes makes it look less likely that they will come to the tapes in 2016.
  4. Tom will be 15 next July and is already being tipped to slot into the Eagles' side. I have seen him at Lakeside, more recently Ipswich now today. Most exciting young Brit I've seen since Robert Lambert. Kyle's not that far behind either.
  5. Based on league results this season Belle Vue have the edge.
  6. The Rye House round is due to be re-staged this coming Sunday (20th September) starting at 5pm
  7. How so? Last time Belle Vue went down 41 -49. Since then Cook and Fricke have upped their scoring and, although, Nicholls has slipped down to a second-string, this is a track he likes. Also, no Blackbird now and, being 8th on the EDR list, only the also-rans are available to guest
  8. No it isn't now although it was on their schedule at the time I posted
  9. Current Eurosport TV schedule showing highlights at 9.15pm (BST)
  10. You're right. I jotted down the figures for both clubs then managed to reverse those for Ipswich.
  11. I wonder if Lewis Hamilton might have had something to do with it.
  12. If Plymouth get maximum points from their remaining home fixtures (quite likely I would have thought) they would need only a three point win at Scunthorpe to go level with Ipswich but would get sixth spot by way of superior points difference.
  13. Weather not great for tomorrow as you will be getting the rain which is ruining the UK today. Dackarna v Vetlanda seems to have the better chance. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2673730
  14. Surpised it hasn't been called off already but, maybe, Len is no longer in charge of the weather! Edit: Meeting off.
  15. I know it is around mid-September so I expect you are right.
  16. Ed is due to be riding for Lakeside in their evening fixture at Coventry.
  17. Certainly gives the impression of being a four-man team at home and a three-man team away.
  18. We now know Robin is bound for Sheffield but still no news on the Rye House website. http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.29424
  19. What's going on. This is on the BSPA website but no news on Rye's own. http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.29420
  20. If the fixture were to be put back to 4th September we would be without Mikkel (Danish Junior Championship) and Kim (SGP Challenge).
  21. Firstly, why would Poole want Ben in their squad? He doesn't score any points other than at our raceway. Secondly, Poole will have known they needed a guest reserve for this fixture from the outset so would have booked Ben a while back I expect.
  22. I thought I had clarified this. Originally Rye House were to visit Plymouth this Friday, 21st but, subsequently, it was brought forward to last Friday. Rye House do not have a fixture of any kind this Friday. Something else now occurs. Last season Adam was in a similar SWC qualifier the day after our fixture against Belle Vue but opted to ride for us then travel out to Germany afterwards. He may do the same this time.
  23. Quite right. I made the mistake of looking at the original fixture list which had them at Plymouth this Friday.
  24. Not sure if Ed will be riding as Rye House are at Plymouth although, in the past, whichever team was at home had priority.
