  1. Hi Dave. Any idea why Premier Sports are showing Polish highlights at 6.30pm but not tonight's live fixture which instead is being broadcast at 8.30pm.
  2. Well done Mildenhall, sharper from the gate and employed better tactics. Lakeside were poor in all departments, just two heat winners one of which was the bizarre reserves race where both Tigers' fell leaving Couzins chugging along to take the chequered flag, and poor choice of guests. I cannot see them making the play-offs and could fninish as low as seventh. Locke is showing signs of improvement despite falling off on a regular basis but Couzins and Laurence are worse than useless and must go.
  3. No preview on either website yet. Lakeside will have Zach (injured) and Alfie (Newcastle) missing. My choice would be two guests rather than RR, maybe Steve Boxall again and Anders Rowe appears to be available. As far as I know, Mildenhall are at full strength.
  4. Justin Sedgmen is to miss the fixtures at Edinburgh and Workington having further aggravated his shoulder injury. His rides can be taken by Cam, Kyle and reserves.
  5. One rider who appears to goes unnoticed is Ricky Wells. His contribution is invaluable, 11 v Swindon (3 race wins), 10 at Poole (3) and last night 8 (2). Had he been available at Leicester Rye might have been celebrating back-to-back away victories - 10 (3) on their first visit.
  6. More important, you wont have Brady Kurtz this time.
  7. The rain gods are working on it but they will have to try harder than this! http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2646807?day=1
  8. No. Already in a declared Championship side, Redcar.
  9. Jack Parkinson-Blackburn guests for us this Sunday.
  10. Which meeting are you referring to? The only home fixture scheduled v Swindon was the KOC match on 8th April. Up until yesterday, Rye had experienced no home rain-offs this year. A meaningless challenge match v Coventry on 6th was cancelled due to rider unavailablility and, ironically, this was the original date set for Swindon's first league visit, As of now, neither club are acknowledging that they are to be a match short. Looking at fixtures generally, it also amazes me that any club can wind up having only four fixtures during a period of three months then six in one, seven if Swindon has to be fitted in, I expect the reserved date, Weds 6th September, would have to be for the return of Leicester as they are fully booked for remaining Saturdays. The weather forecast for August is quite poor with some predicting the wettest for five years.
  11. Since the BSPA doesn't recognise the Euro Championships it wouldn't matter if KK had ridden for Rye or not. No like for like facility is available. Instead options are fairly limited. The replacement at reserve has to be a NL rider who is not included in a current PL nor CL 1 - 7 or who has not previously attained an average of 4.00 or more in the former PL. It has been puzzling to me the whereabouts of the second Swindon fixture from the outset. When Rye first announced their fixture list it showed them riding at home to Somerset on three occasions. At the time I assumed it was just a typo with one of the dates intended to be the second Swindon league match. Although the third Somerset fixture was soon deleted, that against Swindon seems to have been lost in space as it is not listed as 'TBA' on the fixture list for either club. Edit: Just had a look at Swindon's fixtures as listed in the SS dd. 1st April to discover they should have been here on 6th May!
  12. Thanks. I was looking in the wrong place - news archive. Strange that this isn't on either the Hammers or Belle Vue website each showing these fixtures still to be arranged.
  13. Not doubting you but I cannot find it. Do you have the link?
  14. Zach is currently second in the Hammers' averages so RR is the only option. However he will go top from 1st August making a guest facility available..
  15. No Zach for the remainder of the season following a crash at Swindon last night.: http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2931 Get well soon.
  16. Hammers have two reserved dates, 11th August and 16th September. Neither Belle Vue Aces/Colts have meetings on those dates although the latter has Glasgow in action which would rule out Bewley and Smith. Additionally and there appears to be a number of Fridays available. What is even more bizarre is the fact that on the original fixture list 11th August was the date set for Hammers v Belle Vue/Coventry.
  17. There is no Rob Branford for this one having been ruled out for the season due to a shoulder injury. Ben Morley is the guest replacement. Also I believe Justin Sedgmen is not available resulting from concussion sustained last Monday although there is no mention in the match preview. He missed the Ipswich v Sheffield match on Wednesday. This being the case, only Ben Barker is eligible from the main 1 - 5 meaning three rides will be allocated to reserves so its looking like a busy night for Robbo.
  18. Just changing the subject slightly. Rob Branford season is over due to a shoulder injury. http://www.ryehouserockets.co/news.php?extend.1452
  19. Who are these possible decent replacements because I cannot see any. Check for yourself: http://www.speedwaygb.co/files/downloads/nl17_issue_21.pdf
  20. Nothing yet on updates. The nearest I can get is from the Wolves match preview: WOLVES: Lindgren Howarth Schlein Thorssell Masters Perks Greaves RYE HOUSE: Harris Barker Wells Sedgmen Nicholls Robson Branford Danny Ayres replaces the injured Rob Branford. Other than that, and if these are the riding orders, I cannot see the logic of Rye House having two riders coming out in heat one who can't gate
  21. Rob Branford ruled out tonight through injury. Danny Ayres guests which appears strengthen the Rockets
  22. An even stronger case for moving this meeting is the fact that Max Clegg will be missing for Buxton as well.
  23. Rye House will have to hope he's in the right team when they visit Wolves this evening.then.
  24. Two reserved dates, 11th August and 16th September.
