  1. I suppose It is quite possible that Polish clubs are told that if they allow one of their riders to ride in more leagues than stipulated there is no RR facility should he get injured whilst riding in GB, Denmark or Sweden.
  2. Yes, NKI rode for Indianerna on Tuesday and Esbjerg in Denmark yesterday. As far as I know he is still riding for Lodz in the Polish first division so I don't know how this will affect King's Lynn.
  3. The Premier Sports presenter mentioned that Woffinden will be doing the next few meetings for Esbjerg. This will allow NKI to stay at King's Lynn for the time being.
  4. I suppose he could have dropped Denmark for the time being allowing Tai to take the 'A' position exclusively.
  5. ..and this is the problem. You may well be right but the rule as it is written requires explanation. I don't know if MC mean no team changes once the league campaign starts until 25% (ie., 30) fixtures have been completed or no changes at all until this milestone has been reached. Then what happens after that? Is there to be another transfer window once 75% matches have been ridden or can another change(s) be made at at anytime between 25% and 75%? Also, do the changes involve individual riders or wholesale re-declarations. More questions than answers right now. Edit: I don't know whether to read anything into this but new Greensheets for the Championship were published yesterday but nothing yet for the Premiership.
  6. There has been since 2017. No team changes may be made after 28th August.
  7. It is up to the MC to explain what they mean but this is what they have said: 'A Premiership Transfer Window opens after 25% of the League fixtures are complete and closes when 75% of League fixtures are complete. This permits changes to the team on 2 occasions, except for proven long term injury.'
  8. Well that's how I read it. On a more general note it would be helpful to know why this rule has been introduced, for what purpose and why it is restricted to just the Premiership.
  9. The rules just say this: 010.3 TEAM DECLARATIONS Teams must be declared prior to the start of the season. 012.2 A Premiership Transfer Window opens after 25% of the League fixtures are complete and closes when 75% of League fixtures are complete. This permits changes to the team on 2 occasions, except for proven long term injury. It doesn't say anything about being able to change the initial declaration prior to the league campaign.
  10. Has this been cleared by the BSPA though. After the fiasco over Dan Bewley one wonders if Mark Lemon has checked the 2022 regulations or, maybe, they have just passed him by!
  11. Jake Allen's inclusion is not a change to their line-up as prior to this they had only six riders signed. Therefore, he is part of their initial declaration.
  12. NKI is a 28 day injury replacement for Kildemand who remains in the initial decaration.
  13. Jake Allen isn't on a 28 day contract. It is a short-term contract and he is included in their initial declaration. This is the extract from Belle Vue's website: 'AHEAD of the club’s first team event against Sheffield on Monday, March 28, Belle Vue have signed Australian racer Jake Allen on a short-term contract. The 2017 Queensland State Champion also lines up for the Scunthorpe Scorpions this season, after spending a year with Teesside club Redcar last season. But he found himself without a Premiership team place in 2022 after missing out on a spot with former club Ipswich, with whom he’d spent the last two campaigns. On Allen’s signing, Belle Vue CEO Mark Lemon said: “Finally, after what seems like an impossible international rider search, we have given Jake Allen a chance to showcase his abilities.'
  14. ...and just to add to this, Batchelor had another couple of poor meetings for Oxford over the weekend and Rowe failed to score in Leicester's home fixture on Saturday and was replaced for his fourth ride.
  15. 18 point maximum for Plymouth last night.
  16. Riders available potentially following the demise of Vetlanda in the Swedish League :- Piotr Pawlicki Aleksander Loktaev Pawel Przedpelski Rune Holta (Poland) although it is believed Przedpelski is set to join Vastervik to replace unavailable Artem Laguta.
  17. Now set up. Denmark ( and Sweden) now to be broadcast. First meeting from Denmark tonight on Premier Sports 1, 6pm.
  18. Unfortunately this is no longer available having been blocked by Canal on copyright grounds.
  19. Possibly not as it is a midday fixture. It could be Wolves v King's Lynn.
  20. Sheffield are at Wolves tomorrow. Leaves just Richard Lawson I guess.
  21. Today is the last day for the earlybird offer: https://watch.britishspeedway.co.uk/catalog
  22. Points limit is 39 for 6 riders plus rising star.
