King's Lynn V Coventry (nl) - 4th July 2014
Allitt Racing replied to Mimmo's topic in National League Speedway
Mr s1. You can only pick upto the average that Lewis had as he has not yet got a new average. We picked the best guest that was avaliable on that average. Chris did his level best for us but if course we missed a rider that is averaging 10 plus but only has a 6 plus average as far as a guest is concerned. Hope that explains. -

Lol what about Rose one year in NL. Bailey no seasons. Marc Owen limited with injury. The kings Lynn boys all younger than the stags number 1. In fact the oldest is 27. If that is to old then we are in trouble. As for ambition. Both Darren and Kyle are on the elite list so clearly they have it. James will be when he gets fully fit. So when you know all that maybe you will feel differently ?

Andy will not be riding for the MDL team this season sadly. He has helped in a big way over the last two seasons and I would like to thank him for that. However he is now putting all his efforts into Connor and I am sure everyone will understand that. TMW You know my thoughts on what you have said ref the MDL I agree
-
Semion hi. We did offer Connor a contract along with josh last year. However Connor decided on mildenhall which of course was his choice. Furrow Some people wonder why team managers and promoters choose not to come on here. Comments like yours are the reason. Anyone that knows me and what I stand for and have done already with the young stars knows how I work. Being a " mate " has nothing to do with it. As for ambition again you clearly don't know me at all.

Lynnboy. I can understand your thoughts, however it was always going to be difficult after last season with Lewi Kerr, Robert Lambert, Jake Knight all not racing in NL in 2014. As I said at the forum we are still working very hard on the youth setup with the MDL and riders will come through just as they have the last few years. However that does take time and you can actually do more damage than good to young riders putting them in to soon. Having said all that I do feel the team we have put out can improve, the riders in the team this year are all capable of improving the starting averages and as Darren showed last year are far better than the averages suggest. Added to that how many other NL teams can say they have produced half of the Elite league team the following year ? It will take a little time both Lewis Rose and Josh are still developing and as I said others from the junior set up will come through in time. Hope that answers the question a little

King's Lynn V Dudley (po Final) - 9th October 2013
Allitt Racing replied to Mimmo's topic in National League Speedway
The options are very limited. Because of the transfer deadline at the end of August a team can only use a 3 point unmatched rider. Josh was signed by the club for next season as an asset and we all felt although it would be difficult it was best to use josh. In fact he did very well against mildenhall and rode well in the two matches. The experience he has gained will serve him well and I feel it was still the right decision rather than using a 3.00 rider who had no attachment to our club. -
King's Lynn Young Stars V Kent Kings, Nat Lge, 14/08/2013
Allitt Racing replied to a topic in National League Speedway
The average is calculated like this. Points divided by number of rides then multiply by 4. Example. 5 points from 5 rides is a 4 point average. Heat 15 does count towards cma. -

Mildenhall V Buxton (nt) 16/9/12
Allitt Racing replied to Fozzie4388's topic in National League Speedway
Just a question? Why do some Mildenhall fans think they can just have any riders they please even if they are contracted to another club? Lewis had a great day yesterday and is a talent but is also very much part of the Kings Lynn plans for the Future. I also hope Buxton and the league can find a way forward I think more teams are finding it hard then even I thought sadly. -
The fairest thing would be to move play off date to 22nd the rye v Stoke and Lynn v iow would decide everything on track.
-
Kings Lynn at this present time are not intending to pull out. However we would like to see changes made as do many other clubs.

Darren is not yet fit Greg maybe in a few weeks

Pl takes priority over all nl meetings except the nl riders championship. -
Ok guys let me clear this one up for everyone. As already mentioned on here Lewis does come from a back ground of MX and as such seems to always jump straight up whenever he falls! This was highlighted to the extreme last season when in may he broke his ankle and yet jumped straight up before collapsing. As team manager i was one of the first on the scene and I can assure you that Lewis was winded he had either landed funny or had something hit the top of his chest area. and was winded which is why it took a minute or two before he walked off. Nothing more than that people. Having know Lewis for the last couple of years he is a great guy and a racer and would not just lay around for no reason, it is not in his nature to do that. The Dudley fans will clearly decide how they want to handle things on Tuesday but give the guy a break please he does not deserve to be called a cheat in fact in this case nothing could be further from the truth. The support that Dudley have is fantastic and as I have said many times I truly hope that one day you have your own track back again speedway would be the better for it. Lastly as for us winning the league, that would be great but this has all come from the press not us, Bagpuss and emuk you have continued to be a great support to the Young Stars and you will both know that like a stuck record I and the club have always said this is and always will be a development club. I truly believe we have 3 or 4 riders that can go much further and that is what the Young Stars is about. I have said that if the riders continue to improve as the season goes on then a playoff spot is possible and we all are working hard to make that happen. Please continue to support these young guys, we keep saying it but just the 3rd meeting of the season is hardly helping either Oops forgot to mentions Jock and Screamer now I will be booed lol. Thanks for the support everyone ,.

I Must say I am at a loss to explain your comments parsloes. As a club we have supported the dream team and USA future teams for the last few years and held meetings at the Norfolk Arena. This weekend saw a huge amount of rain at the stadium resulting in track conditions that have not been seen for a long while. This decision was not at all taken lightly and for you to say " In fact I can't easily recall a more embarrassing or damaging incident.. Truly and deeply, pi$$ poor disgraceful.. " amazes me quite frankly. Riders safety is top of the agenda at all times and it was clear after the meeting on Monday that the damage was simply to bad to fix. Let me add that many many times in the past we have run stock car meetings close to speedway and it has never been a problem. Kings Lynn were voted as one of the best tracks in the country last season and Buster does a huge amount of work to make sure that continues but in this case the weather and the weather alone beat us. We have seen far to many crashes and serious injuries already this season we do not want to add to that by racing on a track not fit, or perhaps even having problems as Belle vue did last week. I look forward to seeing a team from the USA again visit the Norfolk Arena in the future but on this occasion the correct and only option was taken to postpone the meeting. As for touring team loosing fixtures that they could of filled we are the only NL track that runs on a Wednesday so sadly another team could not of taken that date anyway. Dale Allitt
