Threat To The Elite League

Too obvious. Try harder. -
Should Tai Woffinden Ride For Team Gb ?

You really struggle with this answering a question thing, don't you? -

Presumably if he hadn't beaten them you would have posted more quickly... -
Should Tai Woffinden Ride For Team Gb ?
Fourentee replied to robert72's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Just to bring a little clarity here, Robert72, do you regard your proposed team (whichever one you're settling on for the moment) without Woffinden as "far better" from the standpoint of: Not in the British final then shouldn't have World Cup place; or: Will score more points? -

Not arguing with that, but in the long term (if one can debate in such terms given the current worries over Coventry) Woryna could be something hot for the Bees. I quite accept that the focus of Coventry fans is naturally a lot shorter than that this season. -

Wolves V Coventry Mon 6th June 2016
Fourentee replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
True enough. The other joke is allowing them to build inflated averages which catapult them into a heat leader role for which they are wholly unprepared, thus undoing at a stroke any previously established gains in confidence. A poster on another thread, apologies for forgetting his/her name, suggested that such riders should be pegged at second string berths for now, a suggestion which seems IMHO to have merit although not without its own complications. -

Yep, daft system, but hardly the fault of (as it happens 46-year-old) Karlsson. -

Which format would you use for Team A v Team B when one side's reserve has moved up and the other's hasn't? Could be interesting! -

Yeah, should have told Howarth to ride more slowly. -

You genuinely don't see the moral issue of taking it upon yourself to decide what the views would be of someone no longer here to comment? Really? Then switch your conscience back on some time soon. -

No business of yours and utterly irrelevant either way. Disgusting post. If you had any sense of shame or honour you'd remove it. Not that I'm holding my breath. -

Fourentee replied to robert72's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
If by 'Rob' you mean Tai's late father, then you should be ashamed. By what right do you arrogate the ability to know what he might think about anything? What a disgustingly snide, putrid post that was. -
To be fair I frequently rise to the lure on certain other threads.

Lakeside Hammers V Wolverhampton Wolves - 1 June On Sky
Fourentee replied to TonyE's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I wasn't at the meeting, but caught some of it on the TV. Without prejudice, as the lawyers say, I found this tweet from Tai Woffinden interesting: "See the boys bouncing down the straight in heat 2 at lake side and people wonder why i don't ride in uk" -

Lakeside Hammers V Wolverhampton Wolves - 1 June On Sky
Fourentee replied to TonyE's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I suspect not. Lakeside are very, very good at home -- think that's seven wins now and no-one has got closer to them than 10 points. Caught a fair bit of the action on the TV and looked a really good meeting. Arena-Essex can be a much maligned track at times; would be interested to know what regular Hammers fans think of the quality of racing this year. I suspect these two aspects may not be unrelated! -
Should Tai Woffinden Ride For Team Gb ?
Fourentee replied to robert72's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
It's not easy to assess an answer which so comprehensively fails to address the question. My inference, and feel free to correct it if inaccurate, is that you feel Woffinden should be forced to sign an Elite League contract with a club. You might run into one or two slight legal difficulties there, given the rule of law and the abolition of slavery. My sympathies with you concerning your recent memory loss; it does, however, shed a light on the quality of your posts. -
Should Tai Woffinden Ride For Team Gb ?
Fourentee replied to robert72's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Out of interest, could you elaborate on this a touch? Are you suggesting some attempt should be made to stop him earning in Sweden and Poland? Or that he be forced to ride in the Elite League? You are aware of the meaning of recall, to officially order someone to return to a place? -
Should Tai Woffinden Ride For Team Gb ?
Fourentee replied to robert72's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Yep, Tai should be recalled instantly and made to fulfil the terms of his club contracts with, erm, well, with, ah, Wroclaw and Vetlanda actually. -
You do understand how a forum works, don't you?

Kept it quite low at Poole to ensure back to back titles with the next season's champions! No, 12. It was the pivotal point that stymied the Robins revival. I rather suspect that, as a Swindon fan, 14 has stuck in your memory because that was when Wolves clinched it mathematically and consequently you've aligned it with the Skornicki double-point win. Congratulations to Starman for climbing all over a post which said "I think" rather than making an assertion of fact, for awarding himself a self-congratulatory smiley and then having to edit a post which said "Can't get anything right, can you...". He must be very proud.
