I had a quick count through there and made it 28 wins/paid wins from 48 rides in the top flight, on an away track. Extraordinary scoring for someone currently fifth in his club's averages.

He'll go twice in the nominated heats, I guess. -

Shame Cumbria isn't a country. Four rides from Workington 2018 personnel, 11 points.... -

Sheffield v Wolves 24/07
Fourentee replied to Tommy Sweetman's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Just a thought. For the last five or six years (I didn't check back further), we seem to have had one of the play-off semi-final first legs in late September with the other five fixtures in October. This season, September appears to have been block booked for the semis (with no two semi-final legs on the same date), presumably with a view to (theoretically) better weather and more extensive TV coverage. All very sensible, but is rhe other side of the coin fewer dates for regular fixtures and less room to manoeuvre regarding rain-offs, etc? -

They get a facility for Masters, who has to take his family out of the UK for visa purposes, and Schlein who is injured. Replacements for the other two are only up to three-quarters of their average. -

Those guests cannot have an average more than three-quarters that of the riders they are replacing. Edited for clarity. -

Perhaps more accurate to say that all clubs have a minority of fans who do it?

Ipswich v Wolves July 6th
Fourentee replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Exactly. Every Foxhall match this season where King has been paid for double figures, Ipswich have won. Every match (bar one) where he’s been below that mark, they’ve lost. He is absolutely the pivot of the side. -

Pleased with a home win, but that looks a very good Leicester effort in the circumstances. -

No winners then, if that's the case (and we'd have to hear his side of it). Boughen misses a meeting on what appears to be a good track for him (he had a fabulous race there with, IIRC, Pijper in the U21 meeting), his team are weakened and the meeting as a spectacle is devalued. -

Agreed. Does this make me the goody-goody of the forum (answer: No.)? -

Of course it should, just as a fit Kelly should produce more than his single point from a meeting in which he crashed in his first ride, was third of three finishers in his second and then withdrew injured! But that wasn't your original contention and isn't what we're debating. You said that Workington are "massively stronger" with R/R rather than Kelly riding, not massively stronger than the last meeting when he got hurt. And I, for the reasons outlined earlier, disagree. Good to chat, though. -

Thanks for the info, appreciated. If Harry McGurk finds something like his previous form, the issue won't arise. But it's not an easy match. Fingers crossed.
