  1. He's talking rubbish. Doyle only has Swindon meetings and a couple of GPs left. He's done in Poland and Sweden. Probably his quietest spell of the season.
  2. Dreadful meeting it must be said. Should have stayed in bed. Don't think I can cope with a wobble fest at Wolves on the way home. British Speedway eh!
  3. I believe it was actually three minutes. Beating the record of 15 mins in which their previous home meeting sold out.
  4. Brilliant atmosphere. On a par with ZG where we went earlier in the season, possibly a touch better. Went into the pits after the meeting. Madsen getting mobbed like an absolute God. The atmosphere is so intense in Poland that even processional races are entertaining.
  5. Thanks, unfortunately PayU, which I've used umpteen times before, only offers Bank Transfer or Blik as the payment methods rather than Credit Card which it normally offers. Bank Transfer or Blik are no good to me, so I'll have to take my chances on the day.
  6. Yes shouldn't be a problem. Just prefer to have a ticket in hand so we can just walk in when we get there. Got the Wroclaw tickets sorted for Sunday so all good for that one.
  7. Tried an email a couple of days ago, not heard anything yet. Will keep an eye out on Monday. Thanks.
  8. Any idea if Czestochowa tickets can be bought online ahead of Friday? Can't seem to find anything online.
  9. The answer to that is nobody. Apart from maybe Starman who thinks others are jealous of Poole winning this highly prestigious competition. The worst meeting I've ever seen at Peterborough. British Speedway is dead from the neck down and anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional.
  10. Cook went charging up the inside of bend one. It is still a bit bumpy there. He carried too much speed into the corner and nailed Josh. No point getting upset about it. Josh was fine with it as Cook apologised.
  11. Trcak is much better to be fair. Decent match. Seen way worse. Suspected appendicitis for NBJ.
  12. From Grajczonek at the press conference, 'Cookie hit the bumps, came across the turn, took me out, apologised'. No further action. Case closed.
  13. That's a shame, that was shaping up to be a great race. Cook certainly shut the door. Difficult to see the full picture from the grandstand over to bend two though. It's actually been a much better meeting since the enforced break.
  14. It's not too bad. Still looks a bit bone rattling on the inside of bend one. Heat 11 a great race between Toft and Holder.
  15. Dreadful week for the sport up and down the country that's exposed lack of medical cover at UK meetings. Peterborough did manage it quite well on Monday, with the presenter interviewing anyone he could get his hands on, but the crowd are being left to get agitated here.
  16. At Peterborough on Monday the paramedic managed to get to hospital and back in the time it's taken to do the last two heats here. Thank god I haven't got to drive home after the meeting. No idea what NBJ has done but he looked fine 25 minutes ago at the top of the grandstand when I chucked some money in his collection bucket. Now he needs a hospital trip?!!
  17. The majority of meetings that people have moaned about at Boro this season have been when the track has been grippy though. The Swindon match had a grippier track, times a couple of seconds quicker and there wasn't a single pass in the first 9 heats until a cracker in heat 10. The meeting drew praise because of a handful of decent heats at the end and, presumably, a home win. Race for race there was more passing last night than in the Swindon meeting. The account on updates for last night matches what I have in my head in terms of passes executed. I have no team anymore so completely impartial. Even the bad meetings at Peterborough are better than what I am seeing across the country. Probably why the sport is in a mess in the UK.
  18. Yet whoever did the updates reports passing in about 10 of the 15 heats, which backs up what I saw with my own eyes. Not sure where you're watching your speedway but it must be amazing, and certainly not Ipswich, where I've never seen any racing like last night in 35 years of being a speedway fan. There have been gate and go meetings at Boro this year, although those meetings have still been better than I've witnessed anywhere other than Belle Vue having attended about 25 meetings so far this year, but this wasn't one of them. Heat 11 was a blinder, yet you criticise Tungate for being overly robust in passing Lawson. Not sure whether you want racing or not?
  19. What was he doing? Did he forget why he was at the meeting? I mean, even if Jensen or Doyle didn't fancy it, Perks should have replaced the abysmal Starke in 14. Rosco often comes across as being a bit dim, but still hard to believe he forgot to use a TS in the only race he could have used it.
  20. Not a bad meeting. Better than the travesty to the eyes served up from Poole last night. Hope sportowe keep the free Tuesday night stream going. That's three rounds on the trot now.
  21. There will be a free live stream on sportowefakty again tonight. Dackarna v Vetlanda.
  22. The most embarrassing aspect of the evening from a British perspective, once again, was Craig Ackroyd's performance. Absolutely dreadful.
  23. https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/wideo/35931/elitserien-vetlanda-speedway-eskilstuna-smederna Live stream of Vetlanda v Smederna available here.
  24. You compare the laughable, farcical speedway model operated in the UK and the slick, professional model operated in Poland, and you conclude that Polish speedway authorities are ruining speedway? Jesus wept.
