  1. Let's hope Kyle Howarths speedway career doesn't take him anywhere near a Bees race suit ever again.
  2. Not strictly an accurate description of what happened is it? Firstly, it was ten years ago, so considerably more than 'a few'. Secondly, introducing Kylmakorpi to the team was perfectly legal by average. The crooked Peterborough promotion at the time refused to move Kylmakorpi from their team declaration (despite the fact thy hadn't paid him!) so that he was unable to be introduced to the Bees side. Just another instance of Sandhu trying to stand up for what was right and fair in the mad world of British Speedway.
  3. When we close in little over a year, it will be a total relief not to be involved in this kind of cr@p. Pains me to say it, but actually looking forward to shutting down so the club can rest peacefully. Sad thing is, I'm not the only one that feels this way.
  4. Whoosh. At least we've got one of our own I suppose.
  5. Fair play for getting all the team news out there. Saves us all a fortune in fuel and mucking about getting time off work.
  6. The Poole site suggests that Garrity is riding. I suspect he isn't.
  7. Good meeting that. We rescued a draw in spite of Howarths pathetic performance. All over as a contest though sadly. I should mention that it looks like the second leg will be moved to Wednesday due to the forecast. Havvy mentioned it on the mic at the end of the meeting.
  8. Only 15 quid to those that bothered to go to last Wednesday's excellent meeting against Lakeside and also included as part of the season ticket. Take note fickle fans that turn up once in a blue moon and expect a deal.
  9. Given that Holder nearly ploughed into Watt in the farcical Heat 10, I wonder if they would still take to the track in similar circumstances today given recent events?
  10. Bomber's ridden every night of the week in Britain this week for umpteen clubs, keeping the Elite League running almost on his own, whilst your beloved foreigners all have a rest. He deserves a bit of individual glory and it's hilarious that folk think that riders who haven't been good enough to qualify deserve to be in ahead of him.
  11. Andersen's lost the plot off track as well as on it then. His shambolic heat 15 last night and knocking Sarj off tonight just about sums his season up. Woeful.
  12. Lol. When something is a foregone conclusion at the outset is it really worth winning? Enjoy riding against yourselves. Once us and Swindon have been put out of our misery it won't be worth you bothering will it?
  13. Teams in riding order. Dear God. That's a few hundred old programmes from the 14th August rain off that will go unsold.
  14. Who is going to invest in bringing equipment over here for two meetings? The best option is to use a cheap guest and get dispatched in the semi accordingly. Either that or just wave a big white flag and avoid the pointlessness of it all.
  15. They'll still be lauding it as a massive achievement when there's only them, Belle Vue and Wolves in the League in a couple of years time!
  16. Believe me, as someone that was there, Jorgensen rode way better than Jason tonight and deserved an rr ride.
  17. He actually rode really well. Gave Kildemand a great race and also led Morris and Zengi. Just struggled with his exit to bend 4 a bit. He was superb from the tapes.
  18. Why are all your posts always so super aggressive and angry towards the person to which you're replying, even if it's completley un-merited within the context of the conversation? Very odd chap.
  19. I believe the Bees team includes Fricke, Thomas Jorgensen and R/R. Not exactly appealing, but might make one last trip to the Abbey for old times sake.
  20. Can we have some guest news for this please so I can decide whether I'm bothering or not.
  21. Can only apologise on behalf of Coventry fans. The club is an absolute embarrassment at present. This lot manage to oversee more shambles during the course of a weekend than the Ochiltrees managed in 60+ years!
