All that proves is that we're as crap as we think we are! It's a shame for Woryna, but the whole team has been totally undermined by signing Garrity in the main body of the team and a dreadful third heat leader that would probably end up in reserve in the Poole team!

Would we have got more from KK? Almost certainly not. He'd have turned the fuel off and pulled on to the centre green in all of his races knowing him. -

Yes, to be fair doesn't sound like he's done badly. Shame he's not in a team that could have carried him for a bit though. -

Who's moaning? I'm elated. We've nearly doubled the score I thought we'd finish on! -

Yawn. Everyone is still Pooles! That's why few people retain any interest as we already know who's won! -

Yep, reserve in second strings clothing. Newman had the right idea staying in reserve and getting his confidence up before having a shot at No 2 or 4. Stupid move by rider and club. Problem is, Garrity won't move down as our reserves are the worst in the League. -

The predicted fiasco now in progress after a fluke good start. Why anyone would sign King as a third heat leader when, by Jon Cook's stated criteria, he shouldn't even have made it onto the list is beyond me?! Couple that with letting a reserve opt out of a reserve position, and signing a Pole that is worse than every reserve in the League and you have a wooden spoon team in the making. Hope the Rugby and Coventry Councils don't take any notice of results, and their knock on effect on crowd figures, this year or we could be in a bigger mess than we are already! -

Ah, the usual patronising Poole folk that like to try and pretend that the season isn't a foregone conclusion! -

Had 70-20 before KK injured so I'll go for 74-16 without him. If Poole lose a single match this season it should considered a failure. -
So if this Leicester meeting were re-arranged, you'd have Bates ride in a re-arranged Challenge fixture for his 2nd Division side over an 'apparently' official fixture for his 1st Division side that was on the original calendar? You don't work for the BSPA by any chance do you?
-
Coventry, because King shouldn't be on the list. If he wasn't on it, they could have retained Kylmakorpi as well instead of gambling on the poxy Pole.
-
The ultimate irony of it, of course, is that Cook is one of the seven dimwits that get stitched up by the same bloke every November! He ought to be embarrassed branding other people thick!
-
Oops. Brown nose brigade are out. Jon is a mate of Matt's you know. How dare you insult him.
-
Thread should be closed on the grounds that we already knew this! British Speedway promoter treats fans with contempt. What a shock. This bloke is the sort of crook that has ruined the sport over here over the past 20 years.
-
Excellent, will look forward to seeing you and all the other 'true fans' at every home and away Bees and Storm match next year. Yep, didn't think so. You'll be too busy posting to attend a meeting. The point is, there won't be anything to save at the end of the season. The way the sport and team are being run is completely justifying Sandhu's decision to flatten the place.
-
Ha ha, they're all to blame. Read posts properly. One year to closure. Enjoy your tin pot title Mr Angry!
-
All 8 promoters that haven't got a clue how to run a strong collective product that has a hope in hell of surviving. Yes, even your beloved Matt is to blame. Still, we're lucky. One year to closure. Bring it on.
-
. I think the point is that he'll be a heat leader by default regardless of performance, as everyone in the team other than Harris is crap.
-
Whilst Poole fans probably find it amusing, the gravity of the situation is that we now have a position where Poole will not lose a single meeting all season. A top 5 of Holder, Watt, Buck, Andersen and Kurtz will give them 4 riders better than most teams no 1s. I suppose an unbeaten season is all they've got left to 'achieve' though to be fair.
-
Fair do's. Thought we were talking about benefitting from another teams demise. In 2010 we certainly benefitted from being crap for the first two months.
-
Not sure how Coventry benefitted in 2010? Assume you mean 2007 when Johnston replaced Risager?
-
Buczkowski should be a heat leader but Poole are on the fiddle. Buster has his first rumpus to resolve at BSPA towers apparently. Out of interest, does anyone know who rode the most meetings as a heat leader out of King and Kylmakorpi? Surely only one of them should be on the heat leader list?
-
We're closing down next year anyway. Problems don't come much larger than that. It's a crap signing but what can you do? Only Doyle will have a higher starting ave so plenty of guest options! Several. I've seen him ride numerous tracks up and down the country. I went to 70 meetings last year. I'm one of the daft sods that pays to go and watch this stuff!
-
Have you ever seen Kyle Howarth at Monmore? The only track he rides worse is King's Lynn.
-
You'd think so, but apparently Buczkowski is being fiddled in as a second string according to Horton at a supporters club meeting the other night.
