  1. Yeah, it's hilarious. Maybe you can stand and cheer next year when the main stand mysteriously burns down whilst the place is laying idle and they're trying to get planning permission. By the way, there were about 12 Wolves fans there tonight.
  2. Last ever season over by April the 1st. Crowd utterly dismal and will only drop lower, particularly as the next home meeting is on a Monday. As a minimum the management need to try some remedial work on the dreadful side they've assembled. King and Woryna will have to be dropped to salvage anything. Shame for the Pole but we haven't got the time to wait for him and, as we don't exist as of October, what's the point in developing him? Felt like the place was just dead tonight. Sad, tired and waiting to be demolished. Very depressing.
  3. Absolute joke of a sport. That said, surprised he's taken the booking given that all of the classless trash talking has come out of his own mouth during the winter. Bit of a hypocrite is Hans. I'm sure he'll delight in riding crap for us once more. KK at it already. Might save the money. Ah well, won't be an issue next year.
  4. Let's face it, he wouldn't even be a decent reserve. He's wasting his, and our, time.
  5. So that Carr can cover Heat 14 and we can rid ourselves of the utterly useless rtd by Heat 12 I would imagine. They deserve the stadium to be empty re-signing Terry-Daley. Possibly the slowest, most inept speedway rider I've ever seen. I'm sure he's a lovely lad, but a speedway rider he ain't.
  6. The OAPS just need to buy an NUS card online, then they can get in for a fiver.
  7. Perhaps Allan Trump can save them like he did last year? He'll have to learn to keep a lid on the truth and tolerate the other crooked promotors that he struggled to work with last time but he's probably their only hope.
  8. Agree mate. That's riders today though. It should've been called off a couple of days ago by the Promotion as you know what you'll get from the riders nowadays. Nothing.
  9. Sounds like a fiasco for opening night. Heard from a good source last night at Brandon that the meeting was in danger of being off due to bends 3 and 4, but assumed that it had been sorted as they'd let the fans turn up.
  10. All that proves is that we're as crap as we think we are! It's a shame for Woryna, but the whole team has been totally undermined by signing Garrity in the main body of the team and a dreadful third heat leader that would probably end up in reserve in the Poole team!
  11. Would we have got more from KK? Almost certainly not. He'd have turned the fuel off and pulled on to the centre green in all of his races knowing him.
  12. Yes, to be fair doesn't sound like he's done badly. Shame he's not in a team that could have carried him for a bit though.
  13. Who's moaning? I'm elated. We've nearly doubled the score I thought we'd finish on!
  14. Yawn. Everyone is still Pooles! That's why few people retain any interest as we already know who's won!
  15. Yep, reserve in second strings clothing. Newman had the right idea staying in reserve and getting his confidence up before having a shot at No 2 or 4. Stupid move by rider and club. Problem is, Garrity won't move down as our reserves are the worst in the League.
  16. The predicted fiasco now in progress after a fluke good start. Why anyone would sign King as a third heat leader when, by Jon Cook's stated criteria, he shouldn't even have made it onto the list is beyond me?! Couple that with letting a reserve opt out of a reserve position, and signing a Pole that is worse than every reserve in the League and you have a wooden spoon team in the making. Hope the Rugby and Coventry Councils don't take any notice of results, and their knock on effect on crowd figures, this year or we could be in a bigger mess than we are already!
  17. Ah, the usual patronising Poole folk that like to try and pretend that the season isn't a foregone conclusion!
  18. Had 70-20 before KK injured so I'll go for 74-16 without him. If Poole lose a single match this season it should considered a failure.
  19. So if this Leicester meeting were re-arranged, you'd have Bates ride in a re-arranged Challenge fixture for his 2nd Division side over an 'apparently' official fixture for his 1st Division side that was on the original calendar? You don't work for the BSPA by any chance do you?
  20. Coventry, because King shouldn't be on the list. If he wasn't on it, they could have retained Kylmakorpi as well instead of gambling on the poxy Pole.
  21. The ultimate irony of it, of course, is that Cook is one of the seven dimwits that get stitched up by the same bloke every November! He ought to be embarrassed branding other people thick!
  22. Oops. Brown nose brigade are out. Jon is a mate of Matt's you know. How dare you insult him.
  23. Thread should be closed on the grounds that we already knew this! British Speedway promoter treats fans with contempt. What a shock. This bloke is the sort of crook that has ruined the sport over here over the past 20 years.
  24. Excellent, will look forward to seeing you and all the other 'true fans' at every home and away Bees and Storm match next year. Yep, didn't think so. You'll be too busy posting to attend a meeting. The point is, there won't be anything to save at the end of the season. The way the sport and team are being run is completely justifying Sandhu's decision to flatten the place.
