Ipswich Witches 2024 serious team predictions
CB252 replied to SpeedwayFan91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Birmingham riding on a Monday with most of the Wolves team signing for them is my guess. They are unable to run on Wednesdays next year due to greyhounds. Financial suicide and that'll be them done by the end of 2024 if they see the season out -
Everyone using Chris Harris cannot be better than making a signing. Not if you ever want to sell the product to anyone sane.

Fortunately, we have amended the rules so no one can sign any replacements. Leaving us with the usual televised farce.

Yet there is someone hanging around examining all other aspects of machinery and equipment, ensuring their compliance, so they probably need to add this to their checklist -

The correct translation of his statement is available on sportowe before anyone thinks the above is serious. https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/1081904/zuzel-bartosz-zmarzlik-przemowil-po-dyskwalifikacji-pierwsza-w-zyciu-niewyobraza -

Had some friends with this issue. Husband switched the contract in to the wife's name to take advantage of 'new customer' offers, and used the same email address to register the second Sky ID. So when they were trying to add Discovery the final step in the process fails, as when it comes back to Sky they don't know where to add the package to as the email address is in their system twice. -

Not sure they will gain much from this sport. All sounds a bit advanced for most speedway fans. Remember, most of them can't even find the GP coverage on the Discovery+ app. -

I think you'll probably find that, with this being speedway, the riders were never briefed on it which is why the others all seemed to sympathise with his plight. Scrutineering will have to include full inspection of riding equipment going forwards to prevent a repeat. -

I understand that the rules insisted on disqualification in this instance, but there's a grey area. Say Lindgren had damaged his race suit in the crash with Doyle. He has his own suit in the van as a spare but he can't wear it. Do they prevent him from continuing in the meeting despite him being fit? No, they hand him a race jacket with his name and number on it to wear over the top, the same as those that are worn by the wildcard and track reserves at every meeting. Expect this one to be rewritten next year to just result in a massive fine. -

I must admit, I've never even seen the infinite reality logo until Zmarzlik failed to display it today. -

Ironically he was displaying Orlen's logo in error, who probably put more money into speedway than whoever the other company are -

I reckon it was actually safer to miss this round Joke track. -

44 straight Grand Prix Semi-Final appearances ruined by a dodgy racesuit. -

I'd imagine he changed into an illegal suit to ride in the meeting, someone spotted it and looked back at some video footage from practice. -

I think I'm agreeing with you that he had to be disqualified no question? It's hard to disagree that it is borderline shambolic to only spot it at 17.30 though surely? 5 hours after he took to the track in practice. -

Vojens has always been like that. Hans Nielsen still hasn't come out of the 2nd bend in his 1988 world title run off against Gundersen -

CB252 replied to JanAndersen's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I think the bigger issue that most people have is that, in typical speedway fashion, it took them 5 hours to realise he'd worn the wrong suit. He could have been at home resting now ahead of the real stuff tomorrow where you actually earn money to ride. -

Well, the other 17 all wore the 'Infinite Reality' suits and still none of us know who they are or what they do, and are never likely to -

Hopefully some PZM repercussions from this. 99% of speedway meetings that are worth attending/watching take place in Polish stadiums. See how the series gets on with no Poles or Polish tracks. -

Vojens is usually crap enough without booting the only rider likely to make a pass. -

Hope those immediately behind in the standings have a total rotter. Shame for the Poles that have wasted their hard earned attending and makes me feel like not bothering wasting the effort going to Torun. Still, the 2nd and 3rd best riders in the world aren't in it either, might as well boot the best rider out as well. -

Wearing the wrong leathers. FFS are the BSPA running this round -
It was a coronation for him when they were involved. In all the years they have ridden together in the GP series, Emil has finished ahead of Zmarzlik in the final standings a grand total of 0 times. Art managed it once on a dodgy bike, with no tricky tracks on the calendar. Let's be honest, if he'd had to ride a round at Teterow or last year's Cardiff track he'd have been all at sea like he was at Leicester and Ippo.

World Cup - Wroclaw July 2023
CB252 replied to Monarchs2468's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Because 110 PLN is a lot to a polish person and they aren't interested in supporting anything that they aren't competing in. Imagine Finland v Italy v Australia v Sweden on a Tuesday night at Scunthorpe. There would be about 45 people there There is never anyone at the early rounds in any country because you always know who's going through.
