  1. No, he didn't ride in the semis for some reason and wasn't seeded to the Final.
  2. When we have a junior in number 1 for Kasprzak. That'll be fun!
  3. Kasprzak isn't in the GP qualifier at Lonigo. He was in the other Semi last month and finished second. He's already through to the GP Challenge later in the season.
  4. He's on the wind up, but he's not very good at it. Lynn is one of the few stadiums that actually looks like it has made progress in the last twenty years.
  5. I suggested that Harris would be a Wolves target. Half hearted is one thing he could never be described as. KK would naturally be a target for a club with a less fiddly track.
  6. The fact that the meeting will be run swiftly usually makes it a more attractive proposition. Dragging a 15 heat meeting on for 3 hours in the mistaken belief that the longer you're in the stadium the more entertainment you've had is a common problem these days.
  7. He rode like that at Vue as well. When he's in the mood he truly is one of the best in the world to watch. I should think Lynn and Vue will be hoping to sign him next year after we fold. Bomber too probably but suspect he'll go to Wolves.
  8. Professionally offended folk can turn almost anything into an insensitive comment in today's world. It's one of the biggest problems with 'today's world'.
  9. Blimey, I can't imagine anyone being offended by that, unless they're one of those sad gits that gets offended by anything. It's a jokey comment that people use every day of the week. You do know that he wouldn't actually have killed her don't you?
  10. Midweek Speedway and on the TV. Bad combination. Lynn track looked the best I've seen it in a number of years. Smashing stuff from KK and Harris in 15.
  11. Both incidents were pretty similar. Worrall was taken by surprise but he didn't go down as a result of that initial surprise, he just sort of dithered off the bike in installments. Correct call I thought.
  12. Rearrange the B fixture at Leicester as well while you're at it as the Bees have no KK and no facility that night. One of three meetings where the Bees will be in that boat, so Lions may get off the foot of the table yet.
  13. And he's off again. Try and keep the posts shorter, less boring and less similar to about a million other identical posts you've made. Quite enjoyed this match as a neutral. Probably the best I've seen at BP.
  14. Given the state of the place last Friday they'll need a while to clear all the rubbish and excrement up before they let people back on to some parts of the car park.
  15. It's looking like the wrong decision at this point based on today's weather so far. A couple of miles from track and no rain since early in the day. It's taken a hammering this week though and if the gypos are still on the car park they might not want the hassle of guarding a much busier car park than last Friday.
  16. That's the only Danish meeting he has done though. His Polish team haven't used him since the first meeting of the season in March.
  17. Smashing idea isn't it? Charge people 17 quid to get in and then refuse to tell them who is in the heats unless they part with another 3 quid to purchase a programme worth 20p. Speedway promoters are so thick it's untrue. There's generally naff all worth writing in a prog anyway. Free scorecard and fixture list should be provided at the gate and then produce a monthly magazine featuring rider interviews and other features.
  18. The way he rode in Poland last Sunday, he won't be allowed out to play for a while I wouldn't think!
  19. Here's a laugh. Coventry's promotion is so astute that in their Elite League programme they don't even list the Coventry Storm fixtures. Then they moan when nobody goes! All tracks should be handing out a free scorecard and a fixture list when you walk through the gates. It costs next to nothing, free promotion. Particularly when you own a printing company! What sane business doesn't advertise to the hilt when the next event is to people inside the stadium? Oh well, they'll never learn. Shrouding team line ups and fixture lists in secrecy is the best way.
  20. Daft idea. Far better to just chuck riders straight into a world cup final without giving them a chance to ride as a team beforehand.
  21. The format now is rubbish as it's skewed all the averages. I'd favour a return to the original 15 heat format used in 1988 BL, but I'd push the second reserves race back to heat 12 thus ensuring that all the top boys are in each of the last three heats. I'm talking about race formats as if I'll actually have a team to watch next year!
  22. I think the issue with injuries will always blight any 6 man format. Could make every team have a junior nominated as no 7 I suppose. Just watching a Danish meeting from last night and they employ 5 man teams over 14 heats. Kildemand and Andersen seem to meet every time they take to the track!
  23. Why did they need to do a test when two perfectly workable 6 man 15 heat formats were employed in the Elite League in 1997 and 1998? Can't they remember that far back? The 1997 format had 12 programmed heats and 3 nominated, whilst the 1998 format involved 14 programmed and one nominated heat, but a bizarre permanent R/R was employed for the missing 7th rider.
  24. Why would that happen? Who would be stupid enough to run Coventry Speedway at Leicester without Leicester having their own team? More likely that both clubs will fold.
