Is This Swindon Team The Best Of Recent Times?
CB252 replied to DC2's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Not really an indication of Wolves financial position. Give it a year or two when Musielak is an established Ekstraliga heat leader and has a Swedish deal and he won't want to / won't be allowed to ride here, so the Robins will have an unusable asset. -

I think the point that he and others are making is that the whole league is a complete shambles. -

Relax everyone, he's fit to ride in Poland tomorrow. -

Danish 5 man format? -
Whether Peterborough are happy is irrelevant. The rules clearly state that missing a BSPA shared event results in a ban.

Depends how recent you mean by recent times. In EL era, Bradford 97 Ippo 98 Poole 03 and Coventry 07 would eat this Swindon team for breakfast. It's definitely the best Premiership team of recent times. -
They don't have a choice re: banning him. It's mandated in the rule book that the 4s is a compulsory meeting. Missing it for any other reason than injury carries a 28 day ban. If they don't ban him, the rule book is worthless.

Christ, poor old Middlo. Probably having to put up with Holder and mummy's little soldier next year. Still, he's grimaced his way through Andersen being in the side for two years, so it'll probably be like a breath of fresh air to him. -

Jack Thomas will give it more of a go than that pair of to$$ers. -
He's no doubt been pressured into it by the bung from the Poles but made himself look an utter fool. Thing is, the rule book is quite explicit in stating that it has to be a ban for missing a BSPA event. Peterborough don't even have the right to excuse him from a BSPA event. How will they explain away the rules that will have to be circumvented to allow him to carry on riding for Poole?

I reckon they'll let him miss the away fixtures at Newcastle and Scunny and have no facility. Smashing for those two clubs, unless they get a cut of the Torun pay off? Another shambles, handled deplorably by rider, club and the association.
-
They're going to claim he's gone with Panthers blessing. Should be no facility in my opinion. Utter mug Rathbone. All tweets now removed.

Holder has further tweeted that Boro were all for him riding in Poland. Hmmm, not quite the story I've heard, borne out by the Polish press reporting that it took the best part of a week to free him from his British contract. I'm sure the sweetner from Torun has helped! If they get it that is. Polish teams aren't always the best at paying up!

Kennett got 0 in April at Monmore and looked all at sea. Only 5 on his two visits with Lakeside as a second string last year as well.

He'll be riding at 2 in place of RR for Hancock. From another Polish news site: It is already known that Jack Holder will be at the manager's disposal. The 21-year-old originally had a term in the British league, but Torun's activists stood up to retrieve him. Also significant was the opinion of the player himself who decided to perform in Poland. http://www.przegladsportowy.pl/zuzel/pge-ekstraliga,zuzel-torun-zalatwil-jacka-holdera-pojedzie-z-wlokniarzem-,artykul,804222,1,984.html

Jack will be in Poland on Sunday. Panthers will be compensated by Torun, Jack will be banned for a couple of weeks, allowing him to miss the next two Sunday's as well. He won't be prevented from riding for Poole.
