Laughable. What inane twaddle you do come out with. -

In all the excitement I forgot to congratulate Sweden. No P.K. and what LOOKED like a patched up team, really got stuck in and fully deserved their win. -

Very disappointing from team GB, and a very poor show from our new TM. There is little point in saying how good Richardson has been in the past, it's now that counts. He was woeful at Coventry, and nothing more than a joke tonight. A decent contribution from him, and we would be celebrating now, and they would be hailed as heroes. At least it was a better show from us tonight....but still some deadwood to be cleared out. On the bright side, we had Woffy! a 17 year old, first time in the world cup, and the first time on this track, and fantastic commitment. Some of the more established riders need to take note about the latter. -

I think this could be a very good meeting. Given the choice, this would hardly be the track that Poland would choose......and Sweden ain't that good.....just very determined. And that's exactly what we need to be tonight. -

I took 25.00 at betfair yesterday. Should be able to trade out in running if required. Skybet have team G.B. + 12.5 @3.5 too! -
What Do You Expect On Thursday
BritPete replied to Star Lady's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I definitely have not given up with them. After the Coventry fiasco they owe us big time! If they can go into the meeting with the same attitude as Sweden did on Monday, then they will have a chance. -

It's a shame they didn't put those loose chippings on the track! -

Hopefully, after that dreadful display last night the Deadwood stage will leave town. Nicholls, Harris, Richardson, Kennet and Woffy have to be the way to go now. After last night I wouldn't even have Allen or Stead in the squad, I'd rather see Ben Barker in. At least we live to fight another day, and quite often a good performance can follow a very bad one. -
Congratulations Middlo Bashers

There's little point in arguing the about this meeting. Stead clearly demonstrated, that in spite of so much early promise, the fact is, he is just not good enough. Allen should not have even have been there. Richardson had a poor night, but overall his performances, when he turns out for team G.B. haven't been bad. We can only get behind them at Vojens, and hope that Kennett and Tai can do better, -
Congratulations Middlo Bashers

What a shame that Norris could not motivate himself in his own career then, isn't it? he was the one of the most negative riders I have ever seen. -

Another snooker player on this forum? -
Another fine read, Anders. I have noticed before that Gollob does not like riding at Masarnaavetsa. Did he have a nasty crash there once? Looks like it will be a good TV match tonight, and an away win is very likely IMO.

Referee Needs To Go To Specsavers
BritPete replied to sirmattyisbac's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Is the referee really an idiot?.....Or is Olsen the puppet master here? -
Dackarna certainly look strong on paper, and even though they are top heavy, with the top four that they have you have to say they are under-performing. The tv match looks like it could be a cracker, especially with the form Laguta is in. Vastervik look quite strong, and yet they are not doing very well in the league. "The Lions" are really going well, can they keep it up and go on to win the league?
-
Only a very biased person would say it was Lindgren's fault.......and the referee of course!
-
Very informative again Anders. I'll be watching out for the handicaps later!
-
Hefenbrock 10 so far!
-
I've lumped a few favourites together in a treble and fourfold. Dackarna is the only close one at the moment.
-
Oh, I've seen those predictions!

Nice previews as always, Anders. Do you any speedway betting?

After just watching the incident again, I just cannot see how anyone can defend Gollob, he moved right across Jonsson and caused the crash..It's as simple as that. Lee Richardson, Sam Ermolenko and Kelvin Tatum were in no doubt about it whatsoever, and nor am I.
