Ignore the negative posters, they are very much in the minority. Team GB did us proud last night, and nothing else matters. Now we can now look forward to Vojens.....and the WTC final!
I don't think the other teams will be looking forward to the race-off though, that looks like an incredibly tough meeting, and I'm very glad that we avoided it.
It should be great to watch though.
Rob Lyon took a lot of stick last year, quite deservedly in my opinion. You have to give credit where it's due though, he got it spot on this year and now we are in the final.
As for Steve's bletherings, well, what do you expect? After all, in his closed speedway world, nothing exists outside of Poole!
As far as I'm concerned, our best 5 gladiators have been selected. Now the onus is on them to get out on the track, and stick it right up 'em!
Let's catch the direct train to Vojens! Let's get it on! Yeah!
I think this will be a good 3 way battle. Sweden should definitely not be dismissed, and Australia still look strong, even without Adams and Crump. I just hope the track is good and grippy so they can put on a good show.
The very name of Peter Craven has a magical ring about it, even after all these years. He was always a very popular visitor to Swindon. I still vividly remember
him twice equalling the track record on the same night, thus joining Ronnie Moore and Ken Mc.Kinlay as the fastest guys around Swindon in the JAP era.
His time was......just 72 seconds!
Time for a change> Nicki has let me down BIG time....so, he's sacked!. That's my only change.
