  1. Danny King was practising with them yesterday. I wonder if they will use him in the final?
  2. You lot should have been around when America had some very good riders'. I went to many a big meeting to find that most Brits were cheering for their favourite American rider. The English riders' had a very hard time with it. Today is the WTC final, and team GB are there! "G" is for GB, "g" is for gate, and "g" is for go! So come on Harris, Nicholls, Stead, Richardson and Woffinden, You have absolutely nothing to lose. Blast out of the gate and give it a go! Richtea, a nice shower before the match could be just what we need! Lets get it on!
  3. I seem to recall that the BEL had some early season meetings to raise some money for airfences. Why don't the PL the do same?
  4. Vojens gets a lot of rain, a heavy shower just before it starts would be nice
  5. Team GB, Poland, Sweden, Denmark. And you heard it here first!
  6. I think that Poland and Sweden are stronger than Denmark are, but the track will be so slick it won't matter so much. I wonder if team GB can get their gating boots on?
  7. Jonsson had a great last to first in his opening ride, but the Danes soon put a stop to that nonsense, in his second ride, it was grip less and he was pointless. I can understand now why Ivan Mauger said this was one of his favourite tracks.
  8. An embarrassment that a fairly big meeting for the sport was watched by a handful of people. They are saving their money for the final, that's why!
  9. It was fairly interesting. We knew the track was going to be slick, so no surprise there. The closeness of the scores, with a last heat decider, made it ok.
  10. Poland are the strongest team, but a track as slick as this could give them big problems in the final.
  11. If AJ is at his best, yes, but that's not something that always happens these days, especially if he's not 100% fit.
  12. It seems to me as though we are getting messages from Matt here! Maybe he's irked because the meeting wasn't helld at the best track in the world.
  13. You can't fault Rory for effort, but I happen to think that Shields is a tad better. Lakeside track length: 252 m. track record, 56.8. Vojens track length: 300 m, track record, 57.2. I don't think there is another track on earth that's like Lakeside.
