So excuse my lazyness not reading through all of this..But reading between the lines in particular Phil's posts the general consensus seems to be that it will be shown on UK t.v for sure but obviously not sky..but you cant say due to legal issues..correct Phil?

Not for me hes been in the elite league a few years and gone downhill and hes never excited me..just my opinion though

At least Bjerre wants to ride for Pboro!...so 5.6 left..Whats T.Jedrzezaks average would that fit? Hope its not Hougaard..hes on a low average for a reason. Ifnot Jedrezak then we have to look at Hansen. He was superb for us but havnt heard alot of him since? Anyone know what hes been upto? ..Failing that I would consider giving baby Bjerre another go

Peterborough attendances are no better or worse than any other club in the Elite league including Lynn as ive been there a few times over last couple of seasons but for some reason our promoters always seem to go public about lack of support*(normaly after a poor one against B.Vue!) rather than promoting. At other clubs people are kidding themselves for instance I went to poole and whilst queing to get in the locals said "we get 5000 here every week" and the truth was there was no more than what we get at peterborough..just looks more as its a tiny "grandstand". As for Lakeside and Eastbourne well I dont know how they survive!. Promoting is not rocket science,I know several people who didnt even know that speedway exists in the city and ive took them and they have returned as its a great product..just not on peoples radar..an open day at a start of season challenge match I think would be a start.Might lose money at first but bigger longterm returns in the future. Also a few posters up in the lincoln road area wouldnt do any harm to pull in the Polish community. It will be interesting to see if the change of racenight to Fridays will make much difference this season as we have seen big turn outs on bank holidays agains Lynn and Coventry recently so the potential is there.

Theres always a spelling policeman on a forum ..and you must be so clever to spot them mistakes, and so busy too!...Is there anything else that can be said said about this asset based business...realy..its getting boring now and besides none of us know the real story so lets just see who signs who and look forward to the speedway racing..

I havnt been critical upto now but after reading that Lawson article I dont understand what they are playing at. Peterboroughs name is getting dragged through the mud. No one seems to want to ride for us and I understand why when I read stuff like that. If I was Bjerre id stick two fingers up after being seemingly 3rd choice. Should be looking forward to the new season but all our management seem to be doing is pissing everyone off and highlighting why no one wants to come and watch this tin pot sport which could be so great!

I have to say I don't understand the Larsen signing...and its now Confirmed MJJ is not riding(not a great loss) so looking ahead... to me Lukas Dryml is a no brainer on the average that hes on now plus he can ride the small tracks and id probably and id get Andersen back on board to freshen things up and hes a pboro legend and a good team man.Add to that Fisher or hougard. jedzrejak and maybe THJ if it will fit and we have a good team but that's all wishfull thinking I guess.

Hans for me, doesnt crack when it comes to the crunch and a panthers legend and along with Sundstrom id have MJJ,Jonasson,Dryml,miskowiak,and either Gomolski or Lawson even though they both poor away but that team would cover them...would love to have Norb and Buzz back but they are a victim of too many good home performances resulting in a average that's going to struggle to fit them in.

Stupid thread when no one knows whats happening yet!..I know one thing though...If they think the crowds are low now then wait until we go in the prem (which I hope we dont). And realy did they think last night was going to be a good crowd?..A freezing cold late october night in a joke tournament that we made the semi final in without even riding in a match that was rearranged 4 times with a patched up side containing only 3 panthers riders??!.also small things like a month old programme with an insert for 3quid doesnt make people want to come rushing back either (like my tight uncle who was moaning about it!) Also how about promoting and advertising the sport within the city because I see nothing. I mean I mentioned it at work to a couple of non speedway fans who didnt know it was on lastnight and came along and realy enjoyed it. Imagine that on a bigger scale bearing in mind that Pboro is full of poles! But as ive said before the whole infrastructure needs revamping to make this wonderful sport more attractive and its not rocket science so why dont someone with some brains resume the governing of this sport to bring it somewhere near upto the standard of Poland and Sweden.

I find it rather annoying that he should come out with this the day after we miss the play-offs..I wonder would this have been mentioned had we won at coventry??..I very much doubt it. As for the comment above..thats B.Vues fault for building a crap team though how Mat Fraud manages to pull of the team building that he does is beyond me..I mean who else could fit Ward, Holder, Kazprzsak and Pawlicki into an elite league team. He certainly knows how to bend the rules though none of us would complain if it was our team! Hope Rick stays and keeps us elite-We havnt won anything under him yet but we have had some cracking meetings at the showground and I feel success is just around the corner

Id like to say well done to Lucas Dryml.I thought he was superb and feel he wouldve done even better if he wasnt on the end of a harsh refereeing decision and in his other race where he lost his shoe.if it wasnt for that he wouldve got the all inportant inside gate and mite have made the top three..from a personal point of view im gutted we have replaced two racers like him and niels with the likes of simota and risager but spose thats for another thread!
